Got backed off for winning too much at El Cortez

I didn't expect the next shooter to roll a seven out immediately. Oh well, it's all random. It could very well have been me who sevened out on the next roll if they didn't back me off. I was clearly thinking like a gambler at that point.

I read a thread on another forum about dice control and I do believe a few people could have the physical dexterity to control how the dice spin. But it was clearly obvious that I wasn't controlling the dice at all, I was rolling it as soon as I got them and threw the dice hard enough to bounce a significant distance off the back wall. The sevens just never showed when I had the dice except on the come out roll.

Game Conditions

I know this probably isnt the right place to ask but i didnt want to start a new post for my request. Could anyone who has been to EC be so kind as to PM me some of the rules for the low limit SD and DD games? I will be going early January. Also, I welcome other low limit games at other casinos worth noting. :)
Regards,

Both games are dealer hits soft 17. You can Double on any two cards in both games, but can double after splits only in the double deck game. No resplitting Aces, and the Double Deck is dealt out of a shoe, face up.All games offer Royal Match side bet.
They also have a BJ offshoot game that beginners should avoid.

EC is a funny place (especially the types of people you'll see there, oh my ). To celebrate my 1000th logged hour of AP blackjack, I wanted to run the gauntlet and really test my experience by seeing how far I could go there. I don't expect anyone to believe me, but I got away cleanly with three 1-2 hr sessions spreading 1-15 on two hands on their SD table during my last trip (and got comped food+room). It's certainly possible if you get crafty enough. Wong's Blackjack Secrets is a good start.

I was not backed off there, but then I did not spread 1 - 15. But where there's a will there's a way. I have no doubt I could get away with a 20 - 1 spread, but not in the conventional way of doing so. They are not secrets if they are published in a book, and therefore, I will not divulge any of my crafty ways. :whip: But rest assured, if I do so, I am confident I shall succeed and they will love me on top of it all.:grin: :whip::whip:

I agree, that's why it's best used as a starting point from which to build your own ideas and style, and adapt to the situation. Ironically I used the same max bet at a strip casino that I used at EC (and the spread was lower since the min was higher), and got verbally backed off from "our casino and all others under the MGM chain", but wasn't really using any tactics. That probably was due to getting the biggest positive variance in my career though...

Spreading 15 to 1, it is possible, even at a major strip hotel to get backed off even if you're doing it at a negative 3 count. Ironically, there ploys often work best when someone who can count is watching you (although I do not know what ploy or tactic you were using).

How the hell did you get away spreading 1 to 15 at El Cortez when I couldn't even spread 1 to 5 with a $5 min or even play craps without heat.

Mainly just from lots of experience under the gun and knowing exactly how the many styles of heat work (and usually knowing it better than the employees themselves). PM me next time you go and I'll be happy to join you.
