Guess Dealer Bottom Card

i suggest u stay out of casinos, as u clearly are not very smart if u think flat out GUESSING on a 100 hands or so proves anything.. do it THOUSANDS of times and when your right 90% of the time on the EXACT value of the card, then u have esp (which i dont believe in).. btw, you have as much skill as som1 guessing heads or tails on a coin, so by getting it right 60% of the time, that means nothing, as 50% would be average.. are u serious tho? u guess 2-6 or 7-A, and are right 60% of the time, and think that means anything? STAY OUT OF THE CASINOS.. i cud just see this guy walking past a blackjack table and out of nowhere hes like, "maybe im psychic!", so he tries like 20 hands, gets 11/20 correct (remember hes only guessing big or small cards), and thinks, yup im psychic.. get real
my bad, its not like flipping a coin, its 58/42, but whatever

Utter nonsense

IMO, this thread does not belong here. This guessing is pure VOODOO.

Unless the original poster can actually hole card to determine the value, in which a huge advantage could be obtained, I would suggest that no money be brought to the casino. If money is played, then it should be for entertainment purposes only and realized that there is a high probability that it will be lost.

cheating dealer

im confused on this whole thing, because a dealer doesnt have a choice on which of his 2 cards he turns over, as his first card is always placed face down and his second card is always placed face up on top of the face down card.. can u explain this in more detail?
Bob
Earlier in the thread I mentioned a cheating dealer who peeks at his first card when pulling it from the shoe and turns the second card every time the first card is not an ace or 10. You are correct that this is against procedure but I have encountered this and heard of several others.

arent dealers supposed to look at their first card to check to see if they have a blackjack? and arent dealers always supposed to keep their second card face up? i dont get this cheating dealer thing.. even if the dealer had a 6 up, and he peeked at his down card (not supposed to cuz its not 10/A), how does that tell the players anything?

Instead of showing the first card and having the 2nd card face down, the dealer choose which card he wants to have face up. If he gets a 10 and a 6, he will show his 10 so that you play aggressively against a hand that will bust most of the time and if he have something like 7-4 he would show the 4 so that you play like he had a weak hand.

First card is up, second card is down

The first card is supposed to be up and the second card down, every time at every casino and that is why I call the guy who picks which one he wants to turn a cheat!

I will try and explain again.
The cheat is supposed to turn his first card every time but instead he peeks at it, sees it is a 2-9 and turns the second card instead. At first this may not sound to you like cheating but tens and aces only account for 5/13 of the cards. But, by picking which card he turns, this dealer will have a much higher percentage of 10's and aces, which in turn will make unsuspecting players bust much more often. I do not know how much this would add to the house edge but it would probably be a huge number, perhaps 8% as a guess.
So you had which card the dealer turns confused. Also, it tells the player who is unaware of it nothing, it just takes his money much faster.

Just because a dealer is not supposed to do it, does not mean that there is not a dealer out there that does.
