Someone said that Griffin lumps card counters in with cheaters and theives. A typical Griffin page will ahve all on one sheet but does not associate them together, instead labelling them seperate...
I have seen enough Griffin books to be able to state for a fact that Griffin lumps card counters with cheaters and thieves. A typical Griffin page will have them all on on sheet, yes - but just because the fine print does not necessarily list them as a cheat; that does not change the fact that they ARE lumped together on the same page!

Also; more than ONCE, I have seen A.A. in television interviews in which he has clearly made the statement that his job is to look for "card counters and OTHER cheats". He CLEARLY uses the word "other". This can ONLY be interpreted as lumping them together.

I believe that you have seen the books, They are not the arc of the covenant. But do you know th reasoning in putting card counters on the same page as casino undesirables? Bob was the only one that made the page, He distributed one page per month so it was more of a time thing, list the most active card counters some times 4, maybe eight, maybe less, then they put in the cheat at centerpage then finally theives on the bottom. Remember these books were meant for surveillance and upper pit staff, not for the general public...But I am not defending them I was mearly enlightening a statement.

As for A.A. he was a good facechaser but did you know he couldnt count and he joined later in life, before joining he managed chicken joints. hes now on cruises to nowhere in florida.

My first entry into the book was at the BOTTOM of the page. At that time I was relatively unknown, and was merely listed as "associate of xxxxxxx xxxx; who was also in the book, and listed as a counter; definitely NOT as a cheat or a thief.

Now THIS is a bit of information that is NOT common knowledge. ;)

BTW; I am NOT one of the people in the camp of skeptics as to your credibility; so far I've seen nothing that makes me think you're anything other than who you say you are. I take you at your word. But then again; I guess there's nothing wrong with a little bit of cautious skepticism. I MYSELF have been accused by people on this site of being a casino spy!

Sometimes when I post here knowing the post will be under scrutiny i will finish and say to myself...man, I should have said this or I should have worded it this way instead...I agree with you that there are people in the book that don't belong there and that people have been put in there that were associated with some one else whether they really were or not.

Keep playing

I have a friend who just received a backoff that was anything but sweet and gentle. This Gent is a true gentleman and never deserved this treatment which included physical assault. In fact he had not even played at this place yet.

I can confirm this story.
