by May 03 I meant to say May 3 2007. I actually haven't been playing 4 times a week until recently. For June and July I had a total of 5 sessions in those two months.bj bob said:Not to propagate the paranoia any further gere, but several things which you have stated do raise eyebrows.
As you stated above, you have not lost there in over 4 years. That's great, but there's also something "wrong" with that picture in management's eye. That's just not supposed to happen with the ordinary player.
As far as my example of busting one of my guys for coke abuse, my point was not that these two are related in any way other than "awareness" of a situation that results in a subsequent consequence. Moreover, I had to have a lot of physical evidence and proof in my scenario, whereas the casino doesn't need squat for probable cause. I bet there a dozens of members here that can verify that.
My overall concern in your situation was your large continual bet spread on DD and the 4/wk face time you are giving to this place. Again each of these factors by themselves are probably harmless, but taken in total they can result in trouble.
Finally, I'm confused as to why you can't play poker there if you're markered. Can't you play cash-up in the poker room or is there some other policy that prohibits you from playing?
But due to the responses posted here I have put a lot of time in at the dice tables when I play at this casino, but my blackjack times is spent at another place an hour down the road. I've actually been doing really well at the other place -- made $1050 in two sessions this past weekend!
The poker thing is because of my credit line which I use when I play at the casino. It specifically states that you can't play poker on marker money. I think it's bullshit but I think it comes down to this:
If you take a loan from the house, and lose to the house. The house wins. But if that marker doesn't clear and comes back insufficient funds..the house doesn't lose but gets 18% interest on your deliquent marker.
Now if you take a marker out and lose to the guy across the table, he gets the money and the house is out of that money unless you pay it off.
I think they're covering their ass as far as people who do bad markers. I think it sucks that those of us who are responsible have to suffer because of some jackasses abusing their marker accounts.
But then again, I don't really care. I'm making more on average playing BJ against the house since they won't let me play hold 'em.
