How do you handle really bad luck?

How do you deal with a bad session?

  • I have a session loss limit

how you handle it depends on the casino. Some you can play longer to try and whittle the loss down...some you just leave and let them have it. I lost more than 20K last night including 11K on one shoe and it sucked! Usually CTR laws limit your losses to some degree...last night I had the usual10K cash buying power and another much larger amount in chips stockpiled. When you have lots of bullets the possibility exists for really really big losses.

Tonight I have 10K in buying power (all chips gone)...so the most I can lose today is $9,500 or so.
 

Unfortunately, you are NOT speaking to a Pit Boss — just a floor-person — who is without any authority to speak of.
