How Various Games in Vegas Compare

Using simply unverified data in Wong's monthly CBJN conditions report, BJ21 poster 'Fine Tuner' runs a SCORE (ie, 'standardized') comparison to identify the top rated games for counters. This rating system presumes that the betting is optimized per count and then executed in this manner:
1D: 1-4 play all
2D: 1-4+4 play all
6D: 1-4+4 wong
So, from this analysis perspective, here are the top-rated Vegas games for June. zg

at least half of these are high limit ($50 min +). ZG, can you denote by a "*" those that are $50+. they were in the original post by FineTuner.

OH, and its based on HiLo with top20 indices.

BTW, I'm surprised that SunCoast isn't on the list. Did they cut their pene? zg

The problem with this list is that it assumes levels of penetration that don't, in my experience, exist. The penetration figures are generally drawn out of thin air or are dealer dependent, assuming the best penetration when the average dealer gives much, much, much less.

It also doesn't give any idea about heat. At many of those places, you'll play for 10 minutes at those spread levels. Then comes the 86.

In fact, my best places to play in Vegas aren't on the list at all, which tells me something.

The list, in other words, is worthless. IMO.

My only problem with the list is it treats the face up EC game the same as the facedown games at Rancho and Palace.Other than that,I think he has the lo limit games pegged, with one exception.

Its not worthless - CBJN is a valid starting point for localized recon, just not perfect. zg

Whats the difference? zg

Lot easier to buy players hands in the face up game. You well know the value of buying an Ace from the guy reluctant to split his, ect, ect. The right amount of hand interaction can make a very good game into a great game.
I play both games, and the EC is much better for that. Another thing is the EC game is open 24 hours. The Rancho DD tables are only open about twenty hours a week. Several times,I've driven out to find they have only three games open,a CSM game,a six deck deck shoe and a Super21 table. The DD is the last to open an first to close, from my observations.

i actually found this pretty accurate for June as I just returned from vegas this past weekend. there were a few discrepancies of course, but all in all, a very good place to start, as ZG mentions, especially for someone not in vegas regularly. Pen changes so often anyways and you should rely on your own eyes for this, but still CBJN was fairly accurate. as per the spread comment, i think if you are good enough (NOT trying to imply that you are not...), you can achieve those spreads for 45 minutes to an hour with no real heat. for case study, i achieved them this past trip no problem.

Can you define some of these terms?

1D: 1-4 play all

2D: 1-4+4 play all

6D: 1-4+4 wong

So, from this analysis perspective, here are the top-rated Vegas games for June. zg

--

1-4 would be betting unit spread 1 to 4 units.

What is 1-4 +4

and when you did your 6D analysis. At what point where you jumping in and out? the moment the TC is negative? only getting in when the TC is +2?
