how vegas has tightened up on the VBJ machines--not near as good

What he his saying is that if you are playing Video Poker and some of the other games you are mentioning your bankroll isn't really a bankroll. You are one bad loss from a wipeout. The fact that you are taking expenses out of your bankroll at this point practically guarantees a wipeout eventually, especially if you're playing anything with thin edges (like Video Poker or Video Blackjack).

Stick to 1/2 NL and other things where you can generate very big edges for your small bankroll. Thin edge high variance plays are best left to the big boys.
