What kind of spread are you using that you receive such heat in AC? Your spread is too big or your sessions are too long. I play 1000+ hours a year in AC and have only received one incident of heat (half shoed one time).
At the time, that i got backed off, long ago, the several times it happened, I was playing 200-250/hand on two spots, I also really didnt at the time make any effort to cover my actions. I woudl just backcount, and drop 200 dollar bets, attemting to look like a stupid kid, who just nailed the progressive slot machine an hour ago.

I dont get shuffled on anymore cause i have no money, I spent it all on strippers, and car payments, but mostly strippers.

Thanx for sharing your experiences, ferrot. Just goes to show that you still need cover in AC if you play regularly.

I recently had a this exact discussion with a new player on another board. He questioned why you need any cover at all in AC and can't just spread table min to table max, since they can't throw you out. I had to convince him that once they have pegged you as an AP and implement countermeasures against you such as half-shoeing or bet restrictions, which doesn't happen often, you might just as well be 86'ed.

Playing regularly at a small rotation of stores, I play short sessions and leave after any shoe that ends with a high count rather than return to the small bet for the new shoe. Just these two rules have served me well.
