I'v been counting cards for about 2 years now i'm good at it i use the hi-low ,but when i go:confused to the casino i lose not every time but most of the time i never won big like other pepole and i'm just wondering what am i doing wrong please help :confused:

Give us a detailed discription - games, #decks, pene, spread, BR, #indices, beting schedule, etc. Tell us everything. zg

what i'm i doing wrong

I live i Detroit MI. i play at the MGM they have a 6 deck table shoe for $50 & $100 and they have and 8 deck table shoe for $15 & $25.I mostly play at the 6 deck table i count the cards and when i get a +5 count or more i raise my bet i have lose so much money i don't know what to do

Thats NOT the details I asked for. If you cannot pay attention to a post, how can you expect to pay attention to the cards? zg

Okay, you've answered the firt question adequately (the games in Detroit aren't so hot, I hear), but there's still the other questions... we need numbers:

Yeah yeah yeah. All's I'm saying is, it's pretty easy to find the rules at MGM Detroit (6 deck DAS, RSA, no surrender, H17 on lower limit tables and S17 on higher limit, right?).

Unless there's an extenuating circumstance, like super-awesome penetration, or flashing dealers, then it's still a game where you're going to have to work to make some money. Which is where the other details of the player's game (like bet spread and amount of wonging) become really important.

Hi EasyRhino i'm new to this site all i know is the hi-lo tecnhi i just found out about the true count so when you say you need numbers i'm lost please be more specific

If you want us to help you, you need to be honest. We cant give you any advice if we dont know what you've learned. Obviusly you havent been counting cards for 2 years. You can find most of the things you need to know on this forum. Go thru the old threads, buy a BJ book and start drilling basic strategy.
