I will be playing Vegas in May, was thinking of playing DD and 6d (wonging for 6d). The spread recommended from here for DD was
+1=$10
+2=$20
+3=$40
+4=2x$40
+5=2x$60

Total br is $9000

Will the pit view this as 1-6 or 1-12 spread?

any opinions on the spread vs br?

cheers

what are you going to bet at TC < +1?

some places won't let you spread to two hands mid shoe on a DD game.

it is a 1-12 spread, the pit understands that 2X60 = 12 X 10.

I have no downtown experience in AP, but I can tell you that on the strip doing these types of spreads on DD will draw heat to you. I kept a detailed log of all my sessions in vegas, one of the things I kept track of was heat on a scale from 1-10 at each casino for each session, I suggest you do the same. Also, which I'm sure your aware of don't play long sessions, I never went over an hour at one place.

I feel I put on a great front at every place I played, tourist, trade show etc... it is still tough to get away with. I had 2 backoffs in 11 sessions, one of my backoffs I only spreaded x4 on 2 hands, I was playing 2 hands the whole time 15-20 friggin minutes. Good luck, I will have some info for you on downtown before you go in May as I'm going to play D-town b4 then, I'll post it here for you.

That would be pretty aggressive in DD for anything but hit and run.

Also, finding DD games with $10 minimums will limit your choices some.

Would that spread be too aggressive for 6d table hopping when the count gets to -1?

What spread would you recommend for DD?

If you cannot spread to 2hands in mid deck, start with 2x10 and maintain 2hands untill the count tanks, then utilize 1hand until shuffle. zg

Very agressive, but too low of a denomination to draw a ton of heat. Play 1 hour sessions unrated and you should be okay. You'll be out before they can skill check you. Nothing at all wrong with this approach. You might even be able to play a little bit higher unit; $9000 is 900 units.

You have alot of faith in other people telling you how to play your money in undefined games.

Ever think about investing less than 1 max bet of that $9000 on a sim to answer this stuff?

Or get the free one?

Might make you feel better answering all those what-if questions and at least get an idea of a range for various scenarios like different rules, different pen levels different ramps etc. Might force you to define "wonging" a little more precisely.

Just a suggestion.
