We already have capital, and are simply looking for more. I've started many business ventures, but never ask for investments without first putting my own money on the line.
Are you selling common shares or preferred shares? What happens if you break the bankroll at a loss? Is there a minimum amount you're looking for people to put in (general figure)? What control will investors have over your operation (bet spreads, travel expenses, etc.)? Are you willing to sign some sort of non-disclosure agreement should people be interested in investing but unwilling to commit until they find out specifics?

(To be clear, I'm not interested in investing, I'm just trying to think of questions people might have.)

A guy makes his first post on this board and it is asking for money.

This is not my first post. Organizing an all female counting, shuffle tracking and hole carding team. Send only certified checks to:

Your sending me money and then I am sending you a sum of half that amount. Lots of waste here, so just cut out the extra stuff and just me the $50,000. As far as the photos go, I would be happy to provide them but fear they will be used by a casino to ID my players. Is there a fetish type reason you are requesting photos of 80 years old women blackjack players? Had I forgotten to mention that my all female team is really experienced?

Gee it is hard to get money out of the people in this forum

Q: Do you have a business plan? And do you have relevant statistics, like win rate, risk of ruin, variance?

A: Yes. While a full formal business plan isn't appropriate for this type of venture (there is no product or service, no marketing, no risk of competition, etc.), we have compiled detailed numbers regarding the efficacy of our technique, EV, ROR, etc. Of course, knowing that our EV is a 2% gain, you could easily calculate numbers like ROR yourself. :)
Of course a formal plan is appropriate: What's your betting spread going to be? What are you expenses per trip? How will expenses be handled? Will you use comps? Who gets what percentage? What's your variance? How are you going to train? Who's on the team, what are their credentials, and what are your credentials? How will you verify skill level? Have you done trials in a simulated casino environment?

All of those (and more) should be in a team handbook.
