Is it worthwhile?

Hi I'm a new poster here but i have been lurking for a while.
I have a few questions that I wan't to ask you.

I have been practicing blackjack since january of 08, I have played with friends and we want to start a team. I have read Black Belt In Blackjack and Professional Blackjack. I use the hi-lo with close to perfect basic strategy and can count a deck in less than 40 secs, but I dont know many indexes yet.
I have been practicing cutting 6 decks aiming to cut 5 decks and on avarage I know where I cut with an error margin of 1 card.

At a local place I have VERY poor playing conditions if you are a counter. The rules are:
No hole card. Dealer wins ties except for BJ and 21. Doubling is allowed on 9,10 and 11. DD only once, no DAS. Insurance is offered, but you can't split or double an insured hand. No surrender. Penetration varies a bit from 70-85%. Min bet is 2 max bet is 10 (on a good day it can be raised to 20). They dont have authority to kick counters. Payout with these rules seems to be around 90% according to a source.

My favourite part is the shuffle, I will try to explain it. Unused cards get spread out in chunks in the played cards. Cards get cut into 2 piles. Dealer grabs a chunk of 26 cards from each pile, these get shuffled so that you now have one deck, 60% of this deck is cut aside and the remaining 40% gets slapped ontop of one of the big piles(alternating each time). The procedure is repeated until all cards are in one big pile (6 decks). The player can cut. The back card is not usually covered.

Now for the questions
I assume that there's no possibility of beating this game with counting, am i right?

This game is very vulnerable for advanced techniques?

Is it possible/worthwhile to play with a team bankroll of 2500€, house edge 99,7% min 5€ bets max 60€, 6 deck fair penetration?

What is the best resource for advanced techniques(please pm if its too sensitive information for public boards)?

I have heard about something called SCORE, what is it?

learn BS perfect BEFORE you attempt advance techniques - also get your count on 1 deck down faster - and go play at the casino by yourself and count - get all this down FIRST - otherwise you will be making too many mistakes to make anything else worth your while.

This i quite possibly the WORST blackjack game avialable in the world, and even if you could beat it a max bet of 20 makes it even more pointless.

Also the shuffle is somewhat attackable (not for these rules though), but there are better shuffles in exhistance

I agree, it's far worse than the games I have to play locally (in a one casino country with NO competition)...

I thought our local games were lousy - but that one sounds even worse! Avoid, avoid, avoid. Better to take your action elsewhere - or even online!

Has anybody here tried Spanish BJ where 4 10s are taken out of the deck? That is minus count of 4 from the beginning , you get paid on any 21 or blackjack no matter what the dealer has. You can also double down any time after a hit and surrender after a bad card double down. This may be a dumb question. Is that why one can always get a seat at this table. I have watched the no hole game before and after about 5 minutes realized it belonged in a carnival .

I haven't but several other people have. The game is very beatable because of the bonus rules. There were some counting system published for it about 8 years ago on Wong's website and a recent book by Katrina Walker gives more information on getting an advantage.

Do a search of the forums. There was a book that came out recently explaining how to beat Spanish 21.

Played it for years in AC as a BS player since it has a lower HA than BJ. To me, also much more fun than playing BJ as a BS player.

Never seen a no-hole card version though.

The old Vegas World (now the Statosphere) for a time offered this same variation of BJ. It looks tempting because of the no hole card. It is a horrible game regardless if you count or not.

I hope this isn't your only BJ option. If it is ..... play poker.
