I've heard most everything is 6:5, H17. Do you know if this is true?mdlbj said:Belagio has a good single deck game but you have to have a substantial BR to play it. mirage had a good game but have not played it recently.
Just wondered, if this was a pitch game, if you ever get paranoid about the game being fair?shadroch said:El Cortez and perhaps a few more that offer $5 games.EC was notorious for heat. They had been a bit better lately but after getting burned last weekend,I'm not sure how it is currently.
You have more places near your that offer SD 3/2 games than LV. If you want to travel for SD games go to Reno.SPX said:What's the single deck situation in Las Vegas? What kind of rules are standard and is it true that the single deck games are too closely guarded to be worth trying to count?

If SD is your game,I'm told Northern Nevada is the place to be.
I can't remember if like EasyRhino said the single deck is still a pitch or went to a shoe like the double decker. I THINK the single deck is still pitch but not sure.Kasi said:Just wondered, if this was a pitch game, if you ever get paranoid about the game being fair?
The single deck at EC is dealt from a shoe, but it is dealt face down. The DD is also from a shoe, but dealt face up.ColorMeUp said:I can't remember if like EasyRhino said the single deck is still a pitch or went to a shoe like the double decker. I THINK the single deck is still pitch but not sure.
The dealers there are so new I doubt they'd be capable of any mechanic work.....they have a hard enough time just dealing and paying off correctly......
I didn't get there, but understand they deal SD out of a shoe. It's likely I will go back to LV next week, and will report in what the conditions are at El Cortez.shadroch said:What was the El Cortez SD game?
These games are not single deck. They are double deck. Huge difference.mdlbj said:Belagio has a good single deck game but you have to have a substantial BR to play it. mirage had a good game but have not played it recently.
I didn't see any DD game at Bellagio, and I just stayed there the last 3 days. It's possible I could have missed it.Frankie said:These games are not single deck. They are double deck. Huge difference.
Unless they made a major change in the last two weeks, you missed it. You definitely missed it. They have 8 tables, 6 on the main floor. As far as I know there is no real single deck (i.e., 3:2 not 6:5) on the Las Vegas Strip. Double deck is common, and the best double deck (S17) is mostly at Bellagio and Mirage, although several others offer a few tables here and there.Doofus said:I didn't see any DD game at Bellagio, and I just stayed there the last 3 days. RIGHT! I knew there was something weird about it........its dealt from a shoe but dealt face down like a pitch game........jimbiggs said:The single deck at EC is dealt from a shoe, but it is dealt face down. The DD is also from a shoe, but dealt face up.
