Very true, but I would still feel queasy about knowing that someone at the casino where I was going knew that I was an advantage player. Heck, the casino might not care. A common strategy seems to be to watch the counters, and so long as they don't appear to pose a serious threat, to let them play. But then one day in the middle of a bad bit of negative variance, they might decide it's time to give them the "tap." Nothing worse than getting the tap when you're in the hole.Automatic Monkey said:Being there are non-AP blackjack players here it would be possible, even logical for a casino marketing person to introduce himself and make offers with no nefarious intent.
Even in the case of AP's, being a casino host theoretically doesn't know anything about AP he or she might get credit just for getting us to their casino and having us give our action. What the pit and surveillance thinks of us isn't their problem.
