and for the record, on the way back, when asked what we brought back, we said nothing. got through in under 15 seconds.

one thing though, do they know how long you've been across the border for? i mean if they log licenses then they could do it... but i HIGHLY doubt they do. anyone know for sure?

Yes they log your licence plate and they also swipe your drivers licence into the computer when you give it to them. At least on the American side they do this.
