US Member Update
Effective Immediately

Due to recent US legislative changes and events, effective immediately, US members are no longer able to transfer funds to or from any online gambling sites.

All US members will continue to be able to use their NETELLER e-wallet account to safely transfer funds to and from non-gambling merchants and are not required to close their account or withdraw their funds.

They also stoped processing EFTs for US citizens.

Other webwallets?

Are there any other webwallets doing U.S. business? I have a bit of money in my Neteller account. From the looks of things, I may have to get a Neteller Card to get access to my money. I'm going to wait a couple weeks, though, and see how this shakes down.

As far as other options, I don't know what to do. I hear EFTs might work if you wait 2 weeks. That's what i'm doing.

I was actually thinking that it will make a comeback when the dust settles.

Remember back when downloading music came under attack and Napster was shut down? Well, it wasn't too long before other players came in place of them. Now there are plenty of file sharing programs such as Kazaa and Limewire just to name a few.

So I think with the absence of big players in the online business, others will see oppurtunity and start popping up. Hopefully resulting in a comeback for the entire industry.

I don't think we've seen the end of online gambling... this is just a temporary inconvenience...

There are still ways to get money in and out, but the problem is that it is harder and more annoying to get money in, so recreational players will stop playing, which will affect the bottom line of the casinos. So casinos will start dissapearing, some by choice (afraid of legislation), and other will leave due to decrease in business.

I'm not getting it...can you expand about Harrah's and MGM lobbying?

Also since Harrah's is in the process of being sold to a private company will that affect anything?
