like at least if they start in canada without those high limits they can start out slow and see what they have gotten into. There are also better uses for $100 000

I'll tell you what kid, why don't you invest that money with a seasoned pro until you're ready to use it yourself. I happen to know one, who will be willing to do that for ya and maybe teach you something along the way. You seem like a trusting soul, wattaya say pal?
that would be an option. but how would that work. hey here is a tenth a million dollars, go play blackjack, o ya try not to lose it; then they run off.

Yeah. but he's not even old enough to set up a LLC legally until he's 18. Needs to get mom involved and that can be tricky.

S3 corp for USA citizens would be better then LLC. Saves on Medicare taxes.

Put your 100k in stocks or bonds for awhile. Learn to play online poker, and do that until you're 19, then go play in Canada.

Hello! He's not a legal party at the age of 16. He can't sign any type of binding agreements until he's 18 without his parents' involvement.

The thing is, even if this kid was 40, in my humble opinion he would never pull it off, or at least I know I couldn't pull it off. I have been counting for 3 years and my story is a lot like a mini version of Easy Rhino. I started counting and playing on line bonuses at the same time with $80. Making $6000 online this helped grow my. BR I don't play online anymore and my BR is currently at $9000 so in 3 years I only made $3000 counting.

The reason I couldn't pull it off is after 3 years of playing low stakes where theres typically no heat, my act still sucks, and low stakes is where you should be building an act. So for this kid to waltz in to Vegas or any other joint and start firing away $1000 top bets with no mistakes and avoid heat with no act, I would guess his chances are zero.

Just my humble opinion.

Cheers

This is one of my favorite aspects of the cat and mouse game. The more you play, the bigger your BR and your experience get. From what I have only read in my short time as an AP about heat is the higher the stakes the more the pit sweats. So the fact that your act should get better as your BR grows is a really cool concept to me.

I've done some more thinking about this, and I think these kids should stick with the drug dealing. It's obviously more lucrative.

Maybe they can switch to card counting once they're old enough to be tried as adults.

This is not necessarily true. Two places where I've gotten the most heat were the Four Queens and El Cortez, penny-ante low-rolling places where the cage had to call back to the pit when I cashed $400 in chips.
