I have a few rules in my life... One is to never try to hustle a hustler....to much work.... :whip::whip::laugh::laugh::laugh:aslan said:You can take a shot at my bankroll, Machinist. Do you play pool? I am getting old, with arthritis, and other ailments, including fading eyesight, poor muscle memory, diminished reflexes, and problems with sugar, concentration, and physical stamina, but I am sure we can work out a game that would be fair to both of us. Do you prefer nine-ball or one pocket? PS--Don't even think of introducing a "ringer" into the mix.

If he's playing perfect basic strategy chances are that comps and coupons are far greater than his losses. The casino doesn't make much money from perfect basic blackjack players..they make most of their money from the majority of players who think they know basic. Game selection is the key...good rules and low house edge. If he got extremely lucky early on and keeps his unit unchanged and plays limited annual hours at slow tables (some Comp City approaches) he will have a good chance to stay ahead of the casino for most of the rest of his playing days and with comps and tournament invites maybe even extend his margin. Keeping the unit relatively unchanged or at least proportional to his bankroll is a big caveat here.johndoe said:If you're not playing with an advantage (and you aren't), and you still insist on playing (very foolish), don't worry about spreading your action around. Play where you like, and where they give you the best comps. Play right on your card, I see no downside at all.
But your best bet is to stop immediately. Why give any back?
Heck, I was just kidding. I would give you a good game you could win at. You know you can trust good old Aslan.Machinist said:I have a few rules in my life... One is to never try to hustle a hustler....to much work.... :whip::whip::laugh::laugh::laugh:

A wise decision.Holen1 said:I have been thinking about what the majority of you have been saying. I dont disagree with you at all, in fact I agree with you. The fact is I have been winning on luck and basic strategy and I should walk away before i give any back. However there is that greed of wanting more, which I think is just natural. So after long consideration, I'm walking away a winner. I'll use the winnings toward poker or something. Much appreciation for the input guys.

 Coincidentally, I do use an 18 oz cue made by Ariel Carmeli in Santa Ana, CA. Although I have several cues, I use that one almost exclusively.metronome said:Of course we know the lighter the cue, the better...
