I am anything i want to be on these forums. Yeah thats easy, i can be whatever i want. People say dont be criticle of others but on the internet you have to with all the b.s. line feeding.

I already know the percentages in place on what counting gives and i also know there is still variance with card counting. I will question people saying they are making hundreds of thousands of dollars off of counting as i know this isn't a movie or a book, its real life, not fantasy.

Then the other question comes is if people are going to beat their chest at non-card counters, what do they say to someone that doesn't count but has ended up creating a $60,000+ BR that started out with $1,200 vs the counter that does it perfectly with a 1% edge but gets completely owned by variance?

If you don't play with an advantage, then you have just been lucky. That is nothing to be proud of. If you keep playing your luck will run out. If you don't understand that then I don't know what to say.

Understand that you are on a forum that is marketed to advantage players. Many APs do not look highly upon -EV gamblers, so the chance of you finding other like-minded individuals here will be slim.

Yeah thats got to sting, meanwhile seeing counters losing their BR of 30k or more. Its a nice fantasy to read those books and watch those movies but from what i see here, none are actually living off this game. Shocker, its still gambling even if you count.



the best statement i read so far on this thread. granted we would all want to be that lucky guy who wins the jackpot oppose to the guy thats getting killed off by purely variance of blackjack, i personally wouldn't go in a casino with a 100$ to my name but thats pretty much what happens to all counters on a higher scale of card counting, and as far lucky larry, FPDW is 10$ an hour thats way more than philadelphia pa pays their min wage after taxes your getting between 5-7$ an hour if you can clock in 2000 hours thats a measly 14grand oppose to fpw 20grand +comps so your wrong when you said you can make way more than working at a fastfood joint

Are you talking about me? I don't count cards. Haven't done that in years and I wouldn't waste my time. I, and my crew, use much better techniques to "get the money." I also wouldn't waste my time at video poker either.

Card counting isn't anymore gambling than running a business or investing into the stock market. I should know because I've done all 3. It's all about calculated risk.

I will say this, there are a lot of frauds out there who claim they've made a ton counting cards, which is simply fraudulent and any actual player out there playing can spot it in a heartbeat. I'm probably one of the few that have actually succeeded
