one is gold river casino in anadarko. they are open from 1-10pm but do not collect ante from 1-6pm daily. you will have to be patient with the dealers as they are virtually all breakin dealers.

I don't mind break-in dealers, if they are not too slow. But I think I'd rather go to Louisiana from now on. This ante stuff is outrageous.

michaelm,
Could you let us know which casino(s) do not collect the ante?
We needed a break on the 8 hour drive back to Wichita from Little Rock today so we stopped at a casino in Sand Springs (just west of Tulsa) called Million Dollar Elm Casino or something like that. There is another one on the East side of Tulsa. These casinos advertise a $.25 per hand ante, but when you sit down at the table, you learn that quarter ante applies ONLY to $2 bets. Anything higher is $.50 and I think it is progressive.

I jumpped in here with this response though because these two casinos have NO ANTE on Monday and Tuesday. They are the only ones I know of personally that have no antes at least some of the time.

Antes and Ok BJ

Well the antes can't hurt you if you don't play the game.

I was trying to figure out how to beat the ante and raise my profit, so I just sat at the table and when the count got high I would start playing. I only played the $5 min. to $100 max which is kind of shitty. And I'd leave with about 400-500 more than I walked in with.

That's just my take, I've only played at Winstar right near greenville, and Choctaw at Durant. Choctaw at Durant has a lot of tables so playing at all the tables can keep you from getting spotted.

Just moved to Oklahoma for school, already miss my 5 hour drive to Reno. But I did find out Firelake alternates months for antes. June was ante free, July has antes with the exception of Fridays.

Rules - 6d, 3:2, S17, DAS, resplit aces. About 75% pen, hand shuffled. Easy to see bottom card with wrinkled up cut cards.

Not too bad, but I haven't counted more than 2 decks in years. Don't know that I'll be playing much anymore. If I do play it will obviously be on ante free days.

The games are usually better with the ante. If you are any good and play any length of time at that place, be prepared to be back roomed.

at your bankroll..

Bottom card, lol.. you probably mean last card of the deck :)
Not sure how much that will improve the winrate in 6deck..

How do they arrange a mandatory backroom?

Are you one of Firelake's security goons?

There is in fact a very good reason to go to any other casino besides Firelake. At most casinos in the United States, you need not worry about being kidnapped and physically intimidated by staff. This is not the case at Firelake Grand.

Yes, your never going to have any issues when you spread $2 - 20.

Just for good measure, what is the table max at this place? and what is the penetration?
