Why are you in a hand with queen-7? Are you and renegade the same person trying to have fun on your day off from school?

Ha, get used to that man. If that riles you up you will not have a fun time being a poker player...

I hate to say it but you probably aren't near as good a player as you think you are. But I am not blaming you. It's human nature to have more confidence in our abilities than we perhaps should.

One single five minute session of on-tilt play can ruin a player.

Your hand had a 93 percent chance of winning but still got beat by a player who went all in? It happens but you still keep playing. Perhaps your problem isn't with hands like these but with hands where your percent chance of winning isn't as good. You might be giving up too much % playing marginal hands.

Maybe you are playing with players who are better than you are.

Maybe you are playing bj with lousy rules.

The math should come into play and you should win, IF you are doing things as they should be done.

Alot of players come on here and say they are doing things right, but I doubt many are doing things properly. Most probably read one or two books, practice for 20-30 hours, makes a three good hits/stands against basic strategy, win two sessions in a row then BAM!!!! they are a professional gambler who never makes a mistake!!!

phfat ginny... you are a closeminded wild gambler..... sit your phfatass down and play a slot machine.... there is no place for you in a advantage play forum ... its only for skilled players

Questo cazzo. Maybe you should have some respect for this person who writes as badly as you do.

first off before u open your fuckin mouth, you dont know me or know shit about how i play poker. for your information i have made money playing poker. now i know just because you assume u know anything, that makes you daniel negranu, maybe u should stop drop and suck my dick

LOL, i bet EVERY SINGLE person on this forum has a bad beat story MUCH worse than your pathetic q7 vs q8 story,

heres one from just last week... my trip to turning stone for 4 days... im in a tournament doing pretty decent, under the gun limps, i push with KK, he thinks for a 5 seconds, examines my stack, and then calls with AA. two days later, im playing an online tournament, with a top prize of 6.5 grand, im 5th in the tourn, with 31 ppl left, guy UNG limps, i raise with KK, mid goes all in (he has me covered), i call, he shows AA. thats rough luck, you losing a 5 dollar sit and go to a 3 outer and bitching about it just shows how little you know about gambling. after those two days im still confident i made the right move both times, and so did you, thats all that matters.
once over my trip i accidently doubled down on a hard 5 vs dealer 6 cause i was too busy counting and thought they were two twos (so i was splitting them) instead of two three. im still pissed at myself for doing it even though the dealer broke and i won the $40 double.

Dude, you seriously need to relax. Are you that easy to put on tilt? Maybe that’s part of the reason you aren’t winning. I’ve never met you or seen you play but I can already get a read on you.

I’m sure you are a good player, but it takes much more than that to be successful. Do you know what your hourly EV is? What about your hourly SD? What RoR do you play to? How long is your N0? Those are all questions that a serious BJ players needs to know. Even a perfect player can go broke (or just break even) if they do not understand the math behind the game. Improper betting and bankroll management is one of the main reasons that amateur players don’t make it. Just because you can beat the game doesn’t mean that you’ll make the money.

So let’s try to get this thread back on track and keep it constructive (and respectful). I’ll ask again: What counting system do you use? What games do you play (rules, penetration, number of players, etc.)? What’s your bet ramp and BR? What’s you playing style (indices, Wonging, tracking, etc.)?

I lost with aces full to an inside straight flush in an Omaha game. He was betting it too, but sorry, in Omaha you have to show me a straight flush. Especially an inside one.

And I'll admit to being an other-than-winning player in poker. Not a fish, but not good enough to cover the rakes in most of these places. Tricking other players doesn't have the same appeal for me as beating the house at their own game. But sometimes I'll play a little 5-10 Omaha Hi-Lo for diversion and cover.

I guess I should have been paying more attention to this thread.
OK, phfatginny, you got yourself a three day ban.

We will not tolerate antisocial rants here. You're welcome to participate as long you as you behave in a civil manner.

Yep, I made a bonehead move where I pushed more money on the table to split some 4s. Unfortunately, I didn't have 4s, but rather a 4 and a 3 (or something), which the dealer immediately interpreted as a double-down and dealt me the card so I was stuck with it. Not only that, but even the splitting move was probably wrong on that particular hand. I also won the hand, but it was sure moronic.
