Does anyone here have any recent experience with casinos in Quito? The information I've been able to retrieve indicates 6D, max $100 games. Will be in the area for other reasons but will have some time for playing and want to have an adequate bankroll without carrying more cash than necessary.

If you happen to find yourself in Quito, Ecuador for some reason, like heading on to the Galapagos Islands for excellent scuba diving, there're actually some nice 6D games available. The casino in the Hilton and the Monte Carlo several blocks down Avienda Amazonas both have 6D games with DAS, Split 4X, resplit Aces, Surrender, Ins and Pen generally of 4.5 decks with max/min ranging from $2-$50, $5-$250, $10-$500. Currency in Ecuador is US dollars. Players were pretty friendly and floor crew seemed relaxed.
