It can be proven with a computer simulation and mathematical or statistical authority will give credence to progressionist theory if their made aware of it.
The problem is they'll publish. If your theory is logical the mathematics will follow.
Well, this changes everything! Dr. Voodoo, I presume? zg

so if you can't put forth the progression then we can't really pursue an intelligent discussion with regard to it can we.
Just making you aware that all progressions shouldn't be labeled voodoo.
If you want a sense of what I'm up against, read my post titled "Throp left the gate before the gun was fired." over at advantage player (Parker's pages)
it's about six weeks old. Another post on BJ21 I asking "Attn:Wong, Schlesinger,Snyder" if they would publish. Although they may claim they hadn't read it, I'm sure someone would have made them aware of it. Not one of them responded publicly or privately. No answer is an answer.

"Progressionist theory" had been around for centuries (over 300 years in the US alone!). I would be surprised to find any authority, be they mathematical, statistical, or simply an average gambler, who is not completely aware of progression systems. The only mathematical proof seems to be against them:

I highly doubt that you've found a "hidden secret" that nobody else has managed to discover. More likely you've found an inaccurate formula that gives you hope in your system.

You're exactly right. After all, we love nothing more than giving the casino a bigger advantage! Despite how hard we try to educate players and create valid winning strategies, deep down inside all of us APs are just looking for a way to destroy the game.

So if you're not going to tell us about it, and you're not going to discuss it, and you're not willing to hear any of our advice, why are you still here? Shouldn't you be at the tables getting rich?

Just like the earth being flat, right? It sure seemed logical at the time. Luckily, the math proved otherwise.

No gambler ever got rich from a theory, but plenty have gone broke trying.

it would be much simpler if you would post the links jomo.... that would save all the other people on this site from having to wade through the posts in order to hopefully find them.

A new theory is always under attack and rightly so. I'm not afraid of math scrutiny. I constantly ask myself how they missed it.

Where they aware of counting before Throp?

I play everyday.

To the victor go the spoils. Theory came first. Experimenting came next.

Sorry, I'll learn how to do that.

"if the world were round, the oceans should all fall "down" into the sky, leaving the planet dry and barren, and the atmosphere would simply float away"

Do you believe them Zengrifter?

Sounds compelling enough.

Very logical. Wonder why this has not been brought to the attention of the scientific community

Everyone knows there's a water magnet at the center of the earth holding everything in place. Where have you been?

There is always a better concept.

supercoolmancool said:
Is there a people magnet too?
If I gave it to a rich man, he'd make a billion
If I gave it to a poor man, he'd make a million
If I gave it to a educated poor man, he'd make many millions
If I gave it to a young man, rich or poor, it would destroy him
If I gave it to a counter, it would confuse him
If I gave it to a scientist, it would amuse him.

There is a little something we like to call gravity that keeps the water in place...

I don't know about gravity. Sounds fishy. Just doesn't add up. Too many holes. Besides gravity is only promoted by people who think the earth is round. Don't you think they have an agenda.

I'm putting the genie back in the bottle. Sorry to have disturbed the voodooites. My spaceship is on its way to beam me up.

Hey I am a mathematicion. Give it to me.

Actually Scott, I think you are right about that gravity thing. It would appear as though bodies of mass attract eachother in much the same way that electrons attract protons (very mysterious ).

Mass? Electrons? Protons? Are you referring to the little fairys that smile so gently as they hold us in place and keep the mean, nasty space dragons away?

STILL looking for Harris's reports on BWH3!

Actually interestingly enough gravity is not really a force between masses as most will have you belive but is due to the curvature of space that is caused by the masses. The Sun is so huge that is curves space and that is why the planets orbit instead of slamming into eachother. They follow the path of space which is curved. The further away the more parallel space is and less curved the path. Also Earth is large enough to curve space too and objects dropped are just traveling along the curved space created by the masive earth.
