jimbiggs, the Amer. Casino Guide has some great stuff in it, i ordered one for everyone in our group going in a few months, mostly for the hooters slot play, $200 worth because everyone but me mostly plays slots and that one is worth more than the $12.95 the book costs.

I saw that $200 while googling ACG--what is the catch? Is the user required to also sign up for the hooters players club at the same time?

If there isn't much of a catch, I think I will follow your lead and get the book for each of the slot-playing members of my next Vegas group too.

Now the $200 coupon- its for a limited bank of machines.You can play either 50 cent, $1 or $2 levels, three coins per spin. You can only cash out at $1,000. Either you hit a $1,000 payout( supposedly it happens once a day), or you hit a series of smaller jackpots that allow you to cash out. Chances of cashing out are very, very low. But don't tell them that. Let them play and enjoy.

I played one shoe at Hooters so I could use my match play. I lost $800 spreading $10 - 2x$85. :( Worst match play I ever had.
