That's not shuffle tracking at all! That is some Erdnase skill. I was into card magic and gambling sleights before blackjack, some magicians out there can do these things just as well (or better seeing as they tell everyone that they are going to do something trick). Of course the best example would be Richard Turner. Please keep in mind while he is doing these feats that he is legally blind (he can make out some shapes and such....not much else).Gramazeka said:

Some people like Snyder's book, others don't. I think it's a good introductory book, and so is the McDowell's ace tracking book. The only problem is today's shuffles aren't what they used to be. Only the best of the best can really significantly improve their win rates at ST and SEQ in today's world, and even then, it's not by a huge amount. CC's are really better off playing short aggressive sessions at good double deck games nowadays.

When we play poker, I'll show you my lightning fast one-handed deck switch when I cut the cards after your shuffle. Then you can have fun dealing the wrong bottoms to yourself, following which I will rake in all the cash with my small straight flush on the river. Oh, and you can fold from the get go, because those bottoms you dealt yourself are not two Aces, but somehow they became a 3 of clubs and an 8 of hearts.BrianCP said:

Actually I would probably only be playing with people I don't know, unless I had a partner for a blind cut. Then you can utilize your cold deck switch and deal a massive cooler to the rest of the trailer.

You can never reserve the shuffle without offering a cut; it;s not kosher. And the one hand switch can make it look like you are completing the cut, but when you put the portion nearest you on top of the portion nearest me, the installed cooler is complete! View attachment 7448BrianCP said:

I may have to resort to a holdout machine if I can't get my cooler in. But it really doesn't matter, once I get my RFID cards in the game.

Only those who lack the dexterous skills necessary resort to such crude devices as holdout machines and marked cards. One only needs to resort to such sleights perhaps once a session to ensure a win, the advanced cheat will avoid suspicion in this manner. Even if such a player was suspected of underhanded tactics, the accuser would find nothing unusual about the deck in play under any examinations they preform. Thus, the skilled cheat is both unsuspected and undetectable.

But they do not always rely on just their manual skill and dexterity. I know of millions of dollars that have been won by such devices as holdout tables, ceiling peeps, wired crap tables and crooked blackjack shoes. It may be considered rude and crude by some purists, but I know for a fact that it gets the cash. In the end, however, both the machinist and the mechanic might someday get a bullet in the head.BrianCP said:
