So much fun, the camaraderie and lack of everyone being on their guard was really refreshing. We could all just plow away. Where were you playing? I was in one of the high limit (>$100) pits, since the seats were nicer, and there was food right nearby that I could duck into quickly. Made a good buddy sitting next to me, who was a solid AP (and he was black, which he said was awesome cover). We were there the full 24 hours, and I bet 2x500 (the limit) pretty much the whole time.

(That game is definitely different than what's here, it's just kind of related. I've never seen a similar promo.)

We've got our wires crossed. I was able to find the discussion of the promotion you referred to. I was hoping that you had found a strategy for the game we're working on here, which is to re-double to a total of 3x the original bet (not quite the same). I misread your original post and thought that you had just recently played it.

Using the correct basic strategy for the game, as described (including all updates), I got a PLAYER edge of 0.1647%

Update for those still lurking ...
With corrected assumptions and by adapting Eric Farmer's CA, Colin got a corrected basic strategy and a player edge of 0.1890% which I have confirmed using my sim.
