A good buddy of mine now lives in Minneapolis, and he agrees with you...the Metrodome is a dump :joker:
Im surprised with all the rich people in this country that stadiums today have any regular seats....they should build tiered luxury boxes to maximize profit. Yes the Metrodome is pretty crappy to watch baseball in, but i dont support public tax funded stadiums either (unless they are truly owned by the public). The Twins owner is a billionaire like the rest of the sports owners across this country...but he can only come up with a tiny share of the new stadium cost  .....i feel bad for him and his $500 stadium he has to pay $130 million for :cool2:

Giants/Pats: boring

Giants/Dallas: decent

Giants/Packers: good

Giants/Vikings and Elis 4 INT's and 3 sacks: best. :cool2:

I'm thinking that pretty much sums up your knowledge of the game, but just to be sure, could you give the class another example of what you would call a very good football game?

Toastblows sounds like a Vikings fan who will become a Packer backer when he has to. I see nothing wrong with that. :p

unfortunately Detriot lions...but they never have a good game

Shad, i just like to see Eli suffer .....My vote goes to Baltimore/NE 2007. I like to see players confirm that the refs are paid off by throwing flags into the stands on rediculous calls

Brady is walking around NYC with a protective booty on one foot. Anyone know anything about it?
Yeah, he was walking to his girlfriend's apartment to pay her a booty call.

concerning Brady and his cast

I heard he was wearing cause his girlfriend never had pipe laid to her when somebody was wearing a cast . Guess that was her last fantasy althopugh I heard - on the net - Brady had to tie a garage door around his ass when he was doing her so he din't fall in . Take it for what it is worth . :) ;)  :cool2:

Bro, watching a movie instead of the Super Bowl?!? :whip: We appreciate the hyperbole though.

On a general note:

I admit that I wrote off Eli most of the way through the regular season...hell, even going into the playoffs. But after watching ALL (not just all Giants games) of the playoff games this season, I honestly have to say that Eli Manning is playing the best ball of his pro career. He is arguably having the best postseason of any QB this year...and that includes Brady.

Will the Giants win...I strongly doubt it. But to completely bag Eli after this run of games in hostile territory may be short sided. Now watch him put in a performance like Rex Grossman in last year's Big Game. :(

good luck
Rex who? lol

That's what my head tells me, but don't you know I'll be pulling for (as in not betting for) the Giants. lol

Even money bets hold no interest for me

Took a parlay on the Giants money line and the under. I figure if the Giants win it will be because they stop the Pats' high-scoring offense dead in its tracks. So I feel good about this longshot bet. It pays 9-1.

I've been trying to put another bet in on the G-Men but my local guys are only taking Patriot bets.Even with a hometown team involved,I don't recall this happening before.

Weird. Must be a lot of stupid sharps. I don't know what these guys see in the Giants. Especially with the injury report on Burress, their only receiving weapon.

cool aslan

I know secretly you will be saying - GO GLOVES AND FINISH THE SEASON ON A BIG NOTE ~~~~~ LOL !!!!!:) ;) :cool2: worst case scenario we are still up $41,500.00 if the pats do not cover . More like a value bet !!!!! The season is over after this anyhow so another one in the win column- although a little under my usual performances .

aslan my friend I never do any other sports other then football. Shad no worries in getting cut off - we bet through the casinos . That is after the vig as well as if you look at my posts they are all credited or debited correctly . We have been betting as a group for years and the $47,000.00 is just one members share as there are 10 of us . Three of the members live in vegas as well so it is rather convenient for us . Good luck to all and may your team when no matter who it is . See you all next year if my health is permitting !!!!:) ;)  :cool2:

See you next year, but I hope that doesn't mean you won't be joining in on all the fun and festivities here on the Forum. You really do add to the liveliness and levity of the discussions here. I hope your health holds up as well. That's the most important thing! Live long and prosper (to quote a famous pointy-eared Vulcan). lol :dog:
