What's the heat like for various levels of betting in Las Vegas now?
I think you know it's all about the spread.DSchles said:So, if you know that, instead of avoiding the room, why don't you just not split 10s there??

I learned that lesson there, I was playing rated since that was my home casino ever since my red chip days. I couldn’t pretend I didn’t have a players card. now I’m banned there so I can’t try again.DSchles said:So, if you know that, instead of avoiding the room, why don't you just not split 10s there??

When a casino even suspects that a counter is playing on one of their tables, why would you think that they would let her/him finish a shoe, while playing rated or unrated, ESPECIALLY, in high count situations, with large bets out? Now if the last hand of the shoe is the splitting 10s hand and that hand is not yet completed where splitting and resplitting 10 value cards is an allowable house rule, by law, they have to let the person finish the hand until it is over.AngryCounter said:The question pertinent to this thread, would a big casino in Vegas tolerate splitting 10s unrated until you finish the shoe?
I can think of one casino in LV that will let you finish the shoe if you split 10's unrated =)AngryCounter said:I learned that lesson there, I was playing rated since that was my home casino ever since my red chip days.
