Why oh why? Explaination needed urgently . . .

I saw the butter experiment on Mythbusters. It turns out the butter side does land face down most often, because the toast is stored on the table butter-up, and the height of most common tables allows for a 1/2-rotation, but they're not high enough a full rotation. Thus, it lands butter side down. Nothing to do with the weight or anything; the change in center of mass is negligible.

Here is the missing component, Newb, just in the nick of time down here in Voodoo land. I waved my new cosmic force wand and now your dropped toast will always fall butter-up. I waggled it around a bit more and you are now entering a long period where your 6 and 4 units bets will be the ones scoring for you when you draw to a stiff, rather than miserable one-unit bets. That was part of a (very) short session playing BS for fun with a ten unit stake. I think it lastest less than 25 hands. When everything had gone I though of you down under with your magic wand - it needs recharging !

I read you Newb, and commiserate with the fate of those AA, which should be some of your best pals. Look on the bright side, mate. You only lost ONE of those Ace hands. AND did you drop any buttered toast recently? I doubt it.

I just got a cosmic recharge and rubbed the wand somewhere I can't tell you about because my wife would shoot me. I think it's done the trick. 25 hands seems too bad to be true. I need to ask something crucial here: What made you pick HER and that particular table; did you Wong in; and what made you go so quick to a ten-unit stake? (These questions have nothing to do with the wand!)

Next question-thread concerns a negative belief that could be the root cause of your current enigma. It could be that you are actually EXPECTING the kind of crap that you hate. We may need to reverse it. Now try this: every waking moment, say over and over in your mind, "I ALWAYS ATTRACT THE BEST BLACKJACK DECISIONS." Spend at least 30 minutes a day saying this in front of a big mirror, especially before you go to the casino. The idea is to IMPRINT it deep into your subconscious mind. You will 'know' when that is achieved. In the meantime, go again brother, with 3 new waves, this time supercharged. The Force is with you. :cat:

Well, that's nice of you to say so, Birdbeast. Is your cheque in the mail? Quite a name you got there. It is probably one of the most interesting I saw in at least a few years... It kinda suits you because you are a bit chirpy and probably a bit of a beast as well. I note you are not giving any clue as to your location. Probably Jurassic Park Island.

Down $1500 on your trip. What trip? Some people here wake up and can walk to several casinos. You choose to make it an odyssey just to lose. Why? :cat:
