Why the Casino business is so far off...

I do a pretty good job of blending into the crowd, young, old, rich, poor etc.
Even have some tricks that fit me in with gangbangers somewhat, but as a 60something white male I just think I can not pull off the getto dress code to the point where it would not give me extra attention.

I seen Latino gangbangers come in and play very well. As a mattter of fact I knew that their were counting. Bets would go up and down as the count varied. Nobody bother them at all.

Shad, I'd say the main way that casinos treat players bad is financially, with game rules, room rates, restaurant prices, etc. That, and the checkin line at MGM Grand. Note that the Cortez is already known to be in its own little time warp.

And you know, I've seen lots of griping about HET treating their employees like circus chimps, but at the same time, the average Harrah's dealer seems more likely to have some sparkling personality than the average non HET dealer.
That is not what I was taking about in what I say about poor treatment from dealers, what I was refering to is some dealers being nasty to your customers. Some times when I go to places where tips are pooled and I bet a $1 for the dealer I don't get a thank you. The personality of the dealer is a major reason why I would play at one table or one casino vs another. Another huge factor for me in choosing casinos is how nice the pit boss is, yes I pick the casinos with the best rules but I have 4 or 5 places to play with the same or similar rules. The pit bosses attitude has a huge impact on where I choose to play. Yes the pit boss coming by and saying hi with a smile and righting me up a comp slip when a ask for a restaurant comp has a big impact in where I choose to play the restaurant comp might only be worth $10-$15. I typically play $40 a hand average. I have well over $20,000 in buyins since the start of the year so I play far more money than the average player in the Lake Tahoe area.

CardCounter - Buy-in's $20,000

What's the true count? Of that $20,000 buy-ins, what percentage did you rathole and cash out. ?

I said well over $20,000 actually I bought in for $26,700 I cashed out a 101% of that or $26,927! I probably ratholed $2,000-$3,000 of that total at least.
