Will I get a +EV playing like this?

Rules : 6 Decks, S17, D9, DAS, OBBO, No surrender
Estimated House Edge for these rules: 0.54%

Hand shuffle, using hi/lo, when true count of +2, betting increases by .5 unit
Not quite sure on the penetration. I've had alot of bad experiences when count is high, I bet with a spread of 1-5 and losing it all. Bankroll of 20 units. (Possibly 40)

Oh and buying insurance on true count 3+

^Thats a bit hard considering where I play, the only hand held games are more often than not, quite full. Would it work if I bet 1 unit on everything except for count 2+ I bet 1.5 and count of 4+ i bet 2 units?

Im trying to play with a +EV with very minimal variance, what are other options?

NO. Longterm breaK EVEN... and you must bet the 5u at +3. Got to avoid all neutral and minus counts with a spread that small. zg
