Yeah, which is why when I sat down I was ridiculously shocked when they told me all the rules.
Gonna be my game of choice until they shut it down =]
There is also a casino about 5 minutes away from that one, but its hit on soft 17.
Whats the edge on that one?

Don't wanna have to go to the same casino every time haha

oh i also forgot if you get 777 its an extra fifty dollars.
and suited 678 is 100 dollars.
so yeah whats the edge then if anyone knows?
they hit the soft 17s.
not sure if i said that earlier either heh.

Also since you guys agree that wonging out is do-able. what should i wait for the count to be at in 2D games using hi lo before i go to the "bathroom"?

oh and one more thing this 2D game makes me pay a 25cent ante. where as I can play the same 2D rules at another casino but not with the suited bj 2:1
1) As far as when to wong out in a DD game, I would suggest for the beginner to hit the road at any any RC of 10 or more. Since this doesn't occur that often it will give you some fundamentals of the art of wonging. As you get comfortable with this you can refine your wonging skills further. Ih17's of multiple shuffle advice is excellent, so practice it.
2) Your description of the DD rules was looking very good until.... the ante. Your game just crashed and burned. A .25 ante takes lops 1% off of a $25 bet, so there goes your advantage. Go find a "free" game.

I forgot there was an ante. I guess it is roughly a break even game with ES and a 25 cent ante.

Random question would an ante game with those added NON-bet dependent payoffs (Ie $50 for 777 regardless of bet amount) is betting minimum (with the idea that one of the rare payoffs makes up 20 units or so) or a larger amount more favorable (with the idea that it is a lower percentage of your bet)?
