I just played 20 hours all at positive counts of +2 and higher and dropped 6k betting 2x150 as my max at +5 with Halves and close to Full Indices. That's a Standard Deviation of -2.62 and a 0.43% chance of happening. You honestly cant make this stuff up. My bankroll is now at 49.3k. This is because of several reasons. I've had 20k in expenses since I moved out here last May and my total profit since I moved out to this mob infested city is now only +11k, but with a California loss of -1600 at those rigged indian casinos in SoCall my TOTAL profit since moving out of my parents house in NJ is now at a measly +9.4K. That's right +9.4k LOL. 360 hours and 9.4k to show for it. Keep in mind my EV is over 25k since I only play positive counts 95% of the time and I used to bet 2x250 but of course had to resize down. Depressing isnt the word, but you know what I just laugh now. My life has been a complete troll since I was born so I'm used to it.

After all these years 49.3k. Of course this is all my parents fault anyway for basically kicking me out of the house for not understanding what I was doing. I've made over +51k in 1200 hours playing this shit game and because my parents can't use their brain to understand what I'm doing after explaining to them I get the short end of the stick. Had I been able to stay at home for one more year, I would've had over 70k. Just more adversity and wouldn't have it any other way really. Not many people can deal with the amount of bullshit I've gone through. But that's why I say I'm the best time and time again. I don't just say it to say it. It is what it is at this point. At least I'm not a fraud like 99% of the people on thees forums. I tell it how it is and what it's like to actually make money at this game. I dont need to go on youtube podcasts and say how I made 500k in one year or 100k in one year by red chipping. Shout out to all the frauds, you guys are a complete and utter joke. Keep promoting blackjack apprenticeship and Colin's overpriced scam boot camp. You guys do a complete disservice to this community.

Since last May around 360 conservatively. Might be 375 because Im conservative with my log. Not easy to get hours either with so much walking and short sessions or driving. I been trying to play every day for the past month and i have nothing to show for it other than a 2k loss. As soon as I try to play more I start losing. Go figure. Im so depressed i dont know what to do at the moment. All my hard work over the years and my bankroll is npw under 50k. 20k in expenses sure as hell hasnt helped.

You are your own worst enemy. You could easily change your circumstance, but you simply choose not to. Instead, you come here constantly and cry.

1) You refuse to play DD, despite the fact it will do wonders for your EV and N-Zero.

2) You hardly play any hours! You’re at 360 or 375 since last May?!? That’s over a year ago! I’m at 275 so far just for this year and I have a family. You’re single with no wife, no kids, and no other responsibilities... so what’s your excuse?

3) You miss out on great opportunities because you refuse to play Indian casinos. Some of the best games I’ve ever played and some of the best opportunities I’ve found were at Indian casinos.

You and I have had many private conversations and I’ve even went as far as telling you SPECIFIC locations where you could go grind out great DD games for 7+ hrs a day with no hassle. Especially at your stakes. You refuse to do anything with that advice. You constantly take jabs at guys like Joe or Yoshi, but the reality is they work harder than you. They put in more hours in a few months than you put in a whole year. And yes, I understand you spend a lot of time walking the strip, blah blah blah. So change that then! Quit bitching about it and do something. I’ve told you exactly where to go and play.

If he got 360+ hrs in the last 3 months, then that would be impressive. But I don’t think that’s the case. He averages between 250 to 350ish hrs of play each year, based on what he’s told me in the past. If I’m wrong, ZK can correct me.

And I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with playing less. If you need a break, take a break. I haven’t even seen a blackjack table in the last two weeks. But if you’re single, you have no kids, blackjack is your only source of income, and you only play 300 hrs a year... then please quit bitching about your results! And quit bashing guys like Joe,Yoshi, or Colin. They earn more EV in one month (on many occasions) than you earn in an entire year, ZenKing. It’s not that they’re luckier than you. They just put in 4X more hrs at the tables. And they don’t let their paranoia of “cheating Indian casinos” stop them from playing great games. They put in more work. Period.

Hours smours. It's all about hands played, or better yet, quality hands played. I figure about 1500 quality hands per week. Hence, the game I choose to play on my terms. Assuming an average of 100 hands per hour that is 750 hours per year with a two week vacation. The hard work is at home. The reward for it is at the casino. Quality vs Quantity. Win today. Play tomorrow. A dollar saved is a dollar you don't have to win back at the table. Take what they give you.

I don't know where Zenking is these days? Last time I saw him mention a location, he was in Europe. If He is back in Vegas, then I disagree with your #1 Ryemo. The DD games in Vegas are counter traps and/or just severely hawked. Might be ok for someone that rolls into Vegas 2, 3, maybe even 4 times a years to hit up some of the DD games, but anyone who either lives here or plays here regularly is better off playing DD very sparingly. No sense losing not only the DD games but some good shoe games at related properties. If I am going to play DD, I play an independent place, not associated with other properties, so the loss of one game is just that.

#2, I couldn't agree with you more, Ryemo. The amount of hours Zenking is putting in is more of a very high stakes player that just can't get in a lot of hours, or that of a part-time player, supplementing income. At the level he is playing he should be putting in way more hours. More along the lines of a grinder. That is what we are at this level.

I agree with everything above KJ. That being said, I do understand and struggle with this myself. What I mean is that it is really hard to get in a lot of hands per week here and keep the welcome mat at the casino from being pulled out from under you. I`ve reconfigured my rotation/schedule a ton of times, and I still feel like it could/should be better in various ways. I can imagine you`ve done that a lot over the years to get yours where you wanted it too. I`m still learning as I go along, but IMO I think you need to do at least one of three things (if not a combo of two or all) in order to get in enough hands to make really good money: play every day, play across all shifts, or don`t be picky about the quality of the games you play. The latter being the most effective of the three, but requires a large bankroll and would mean that you will be playing a pretty good amount of 8 deck games.

I agree regarding DD in Vegas, KJ. But there’s a ton of DD games only 4 hrs from him that would easily take his action. I’ve shared a few places with him that I’m sure would let him camp out all day and all night, especially with his current top bet levels.

It seems like ZK is having troubles getting hours. So my suggestion is if he can’t get the hours in Vegas, then travel somewhere that will let him camp. Between CA and AZ, there’s more than enough casinos to keep him busy for the next year.
