Hello I go soon to Warsaw Poland.i want to know where is the best casino with best rules in black jack . Also after I go north Cyprus and Bucharest and in both also I need to know what’s the best casino with best rules for black jack. Thanks
Hi, can i use the basic srategy playing rng bj like the one playtech offer in many different online casino, will it have the same effect as playing live casino?
hey can you really go through a card game in 10 seconds? I can’t even flip the cards in a deck in under 20 and thats when i’m not even looking at the cards
Remember you are flipping through the deck 2 cards at a time. Still, the GameMaster’s time of 10.5 seconds is very fast. I don’t think I was ever that fast, but frankly, it’s not something I have practiced in a long while. 🙂 I know my speed is just fine at the real game.
I’ve never been to a casino, I’m actually not old enough, how long do you have to decide what to do on each hand? And do you have any tips for keeping track of the count while at the same time adding and subtracting new totals?
Most decisions at the table are made pretty quickly, but you won’t be bothered about it unless you take more than 20 or 30 seconds to decide.
As for how to keep track? Practice, practice.
How would the above basic strategy variations table change if the game involved the dealer hitting on soft 17 instead of standing. This is the more common format that I see in casinos so it is what I have been basing my basic strategy around. Would the true count cutoffs be significantly different with this slight dealer rule change?
How would you know how to vary your basic strategy based on the true count for other variations in rules?
There are no differences at all for dealer upcards of 7,8,9,T, since the dealer cannot have a soft 17 with those hands.
But against dealer 2 through 6 and Ace, there are several.
Perhaps the largest difference is this one… 12v6 should stand at -1 or higher in 6DS17, but stand at -4 or higher in 6DH17 games.
(The GameMaster doesn’t show this index in his list, but it’s a useful one.)
You can start increasing your bet at a true count of +2 (some games at +1), and you should generally have your biggest bets on the table at +5 and higher.
For more on bet ramps, see the Blackjack School lesson “A Field Trip with the GameMaster“.
You can start any time during the shuffle. Just think of the cards already in the discard tray as being behind the cut card instead. You’ll have less chance of a good true count developing in that initial shuffle, because the effect of entering mid-shoe is that you reduce penetration for that shoe only. But everything works just the same.
I was also wondering how should a player go about betting when counting say the minimum bet is 2 and the maximum 10 with the bankroll of 500 at what count would you advise to increase bets from the minimum?
Thank you very much I was also wondering should a player enter the deck just as it has been shuffled and if not how should a player determine a count when there is only half of the deck to start with?
To get to profitable blackjack, you’ll need counting. And I wouldn’t start worrying about card counting until you are at 100% basic strategy proficiency.
While 95-97% accurate basic strategy is much better than the average player, it’s not good enough to approach beating the game. Keep at it!

How about an option to turn off the card total display? There’s no such display at a real blackjack table.

Short answer, yes. You can safely assume that practicing against an RNG has the “same effect” as a live casino.

Right on Dwight, me too. I just started going to the casino, and it’s been fun. I’m ready to start practicing to get my money back.
Thanks for all the amazing resources.

Yes, that’s on the wishlist. Thanks!
