If any of you play poker, I'd say try for two rooms at Venetian/Palazzo. All the rooms there are basically suites, with a separate living room area. Two people can sleep in the bed, two on the couches without much issue. The poker rate is pretty reasonable.
The issue isn't being broke at the end of a shoe. It's being broke in the middle of the shoe ... with the TC +6.
Or worse, with a max bet out you split 88 twice v 7 and double on the first 2 hands, then get another 8. You're out of money and now are forced to hit your 88v7 instead of...
This is a "for show" inspection only. I drove through there on a road trip with a ton of crap in my trunk that could have been concealing any manner of WMDs. The security guy looked for less than a second, closed my trunk and told me to have a good time.
Some casinos simply comp table game players terribly.
For example, the Rivers casino comps less than $1/hr for an average bet of $100/hr at blackjack. I'd like to have a conversation with the genius who came up with that rate.
Mohegan Sun has this printed on the felt and on the plastic rule display that split hands receive no 678 or multi card 21 bonuses. Not really that important since that game is horribly nerfed by the inability to draw to split aces. But at least they're very upfront about screwing you.
