combined with all of your posts, you can obviously see you are all exagerating because of this.

Additionally, 6 deck games s17 can be found at hilton, resorts, tropicana, plaza, and likely borgata on higher limit tables, though BORGATA has not offered 6 deck games throughout in like over a year now I think.

You can find 6d h17 at ballys, and you can also find 6d games in almost every high limit room.

these are the casinos that I know have them.
Ferretnparrot,
In basic strategy, there was no mention of splitting tens - Is it only in AP that we split tens?

If you're spreading min to max then sure. (you realize the max on $10 tables is still 500 or 1000 right?)

Who has a $10-$1000 limit?
I've seen it at borgata.

And tons of places have 10 - 500. You probably won't be tolerated for long spreading min-max there either.

Once again: AC sucks balls for counting cards. It's literally the worst major destination in America for this purpose.

I don't know Moo. For low rollers I might have to disagree. The vegas strip now is pretty much all H17 and many places are 6:5 If you're a green chipper and above, that's a different story.

That's why you'd go downtown if you're a red chipper. $5 double deck with a 1-8 spread is far better than the AC shoes.

And you can back-count the strip, which is full of 6d S17 LS games.

Borgata is S17, and they do NOT have six decks for the lower limits.
Someone here reported seeing it. My guess is that when attendance dictates, one or more of those 6-deck $25 games are downgraded to $10 games. I don't want to call the poster a liar, and I do know that casinos do lower their usual limits to accommodate poor customer turn out. I've never seen one, but I intend to keep my eyes peeled if I ever decide to set foot in AC again.

Hilton does for sure, a lot fo casinos have a general "max" that applies to all tables, and when ten dollar tables are present, you will find them if the general max is 1000 or higher, some casinos put a 1k,2k, 3k or 5k max on all tables regardless.

Yes, they do, but they usually arnt betting ten dollars at the time it happens

Yes, card counters, hole carders, and other APs who enjoy being harrassed by other players at the table may ellect to split tens in rare circumstances and it is the ideal action to make when confronted with the hand. Its possibly the most fun part of counting cards in terms of memories that will stick with you forever because it almost always results in evrything but a riot taking place right there at your table.

I've heard that you CAN get liberal rules 6d S17 at offpeak times for $15 per hand at Mandalay Bay and MGM Grand.

Also, Monte Carlo has an 8d S17 liberal rules ASM game that is avaliable for $10 per hand offpeak.

So yes, a smart low roller that shops around can still get a game with a house edge of 0.3% or lower on occasion, and games that are < 0.5% HE (my personal definition of the maximum HE for a tolerable game) aren't too difficult to find at all.

I concede, however, that many customers do not shop around or play intelligently.

There are, of course, sucker games for the idiots. But there are still some completely reasonable games for low limit players.

And I'm working on my 10 posts just for this reason because it's evident you know wtf you're talking about granted it's taken me a while busy I am. Anyway he is right, I've been to tropicana there's 15 min early in the night I think it's 8 deck though but the min goes up through te night

I wouldn't go playing the Hilton 6 deck games now. Penetration is only 66-70% Almost just as bad is that they've gotten rid of many of the decent pay tables for their JOB vp machines.

Borgata has the best games in AC for a small level player like me. No question. 5 and 10 dollar stand 17 games. again $5 stand 17 games. who else has that. Plus they have enough tables open and there are no homeless bums hanging around right outside the door begging.

Enough $5 tables? I've never seen more than one (maybe I did once or twice 3 years ago as an experiment). $10 tables, yes, while the economy is down. Prior to the economic downturn $10 tables were a function of how business was doing for a particular day of the week or time of day. $15 min tables were their basic starting level, and the one $5 table that was full from morning to night. In those days, all were 6-deck games except maybe the $5 game.

Please try and show some compassion for your fellow man,,,homeless bums deserve respect too and a kind word now and then,,remember they once had a mother and father who loved them,,,maybe they still do.

Did not see any single $5 game in Borgata. Was there on a weekday last week. The $10 tables close down by 1 AM and are $15 and $25. There are no 6 decks on the main floor during this shift not even for $25 min tables. All are 8 decks. I remember seeing NMSE somewhere when I entered at about 8 pm, but could not find it later when $10 was closed. $10 were reopened morning again.

Unless they have changed their long-standing policy, Borgata will grandfather you in if you are playing a $10 game and it is later changed to $15 or $25.

What do you mean by the "main" floor?

The 6-deck games are generally in the area next to the HL room, just down from the store promenade. Usually, in this area you will find $25, $50, and $100 6-deck games NMSE.

The $5 game is usually by the Metropolitan bistro where the Asian games are.

$5 game is in a small pit around the back of the casino near Gypsy and the Metropolitian. It has a lot of asian games and usually about 4 blackjack tables including one $5 table and one handicapped table (usually $10).
