I have an older version of CV so you may already include this:-

Can we have a game option for no insurance but still offer even money for us european players?
That's in V4. "Insure Blackjack Only"

Sometimes, by accident, when I put 1 or 2, Xtra chips in my circle and if I try to remove the xtra chips, I cant. I have to remove "all" the chips and re-bet.

Is there a feauture for this?

Ohya; how do you take partial insurance? Like 1/4

That is the feature. It's the "Penalty for Screwing Up" feature!

You can use the keypad. Hit + then type the bet and hit Enter. Or right-click the mouse.

Also with the keypad, but make sure the "allow Partial Insurance" feature is turned on, on the rules page.

pop up deck info

For novices the pop up deck info with TC RC and number of cards left is nice. But what if i wanted it to pop up more often than just at the end but not every single round. What about customizing how often it pops up so you can wean yourself from seeing it too often to not often enough. Example pop up at half of a shoe, quarter of a shoe, pop up after every deck is delt, every other deck, etc...

i check myself every few rounds but it gets annoying as i try to make sure i can count and play an entire shoe flawlessly.

Make it possible to print all the tables/ errors/ etc at one time instead of each table individually.

Does the current program allow for the ability to reshuffle the deck whenever your up a certain amount in a shoe...say 200 (say going into the shoe you have 2,000 can i make it reshuffle once I hit 2,200) and then the next shoe reshuffle once I hit 2,400). Using a flatbet system.

If it isn't possible can you develop an option of the such. I know the program is for counters but this would be a cool option to have. Shuffle point based on how many units you are up. It would simulate switching to a fresh shoe. I.E. table hopping...

I would like to see a drill where I can practice backcounting two tables side by side at the same time.
V4 has backcounting two tables at once. They switch back and forth. No room for two displayed at once.

Have the dealer check for blackjack before you play the hand, I know it doesn't make a difference but it makes it seem like you're playing an early surrender game. Also the Las Vegas database is in need of an update, many of the casinos don't exist anymore.

Go to OPTIONS-SETTINGS-PLAYING VARIATIONS and turn on Dealer Peaks under Ten and Dealer Peaks under Ace.

-A Spanish 21 Hole Card strategy please.
-Hole card strategy for the other popular blackjack variations (ie BJswitch) and if you've got hole card strategies for any other games all the better!!
-Early surrender strategies for Spanish21/Pontoon. Several times in Walkers book she alludes to all the dealers that mistakenly allow early surrender and promises to publish indicies for this on her site but she has yet to do so.
Admittedly I do not own your software but these features would be most likely to entice me to become a customer.

Thanks,
BW

I read somewhere (one of the other message boards) that if you can swing ES, surrender 14-17 v A and 16 v X.

I've only been able to get ES with one dealer, though I often try

Norm,
Is there a way to restore user files in CVBJ and shuffle? There's backup in the drop down menu, but cant find restore. Burned up my laptop HD :cry:
The same applies to cvcx and cvdata, can you make a complete user file BU and then restore them? I cant find it in the help section either.

Thanks

I'll add 5&8 and 6&7 vs. Ace to that list of ES data.
Im skeptical of surrendering 6-7 vs A in Spanish. You're getting paid 3:2 immediately if you pull an 8. Sure those aren't blackjack ES strategies you're refering to?

Just unzip the backup file into the program directory. Or in Vista, to c:\programdata\qfit\cvbj or cvdata.

Okay that worked well. Thanks.
Now what about the sim archives I created? Is there a quick way to back them up and then restore them? They didnt show up in the files.
