Are you the dude that used to travel around from place to place living at the casinos? Are you still doing that?

$3, 3-2 blackjack games here in Vegas at Longhorn (boulder highway), Bighorn (North Las Vegas), Wild Wild West (Tropicana near the strip). and Joker's Wild (Boulder Highway Henderson), but haven't been to any of them since the re-opening. It is doubtful any of these places raised their limits.
Casinos aren't installing new Dealer Angle machines. Not worth much money, but everyone knows how to beat them by now. You may find a few still around (Silver Seven has one) but any casino putting in new video BJ are using the interblock machines now.

id also like to know if most of you who play BJ for a living (i play poker) find it easier to win or harder now.

What do you mean easier or harder since the casinos re-opened? Let; see it was harder, Thiursday, and Saturday, easier, Friday, Sunday and this morning.

Good point. I didn't initially think of it but it wouldn't be a good idea for the public to routinely be using N95 masks and gloves which could cause a shortage in the healthcare system.

Oh for sure, especially with the N95s. Well, at least we know we're free to cause artificial shortages of toilet paper without messing up the healthcare system. One member of my extended family made sure he was set on TP for the next year at least.

Regarding smoking indoors...no I don't agree with those silly bans either. Every place I have been has ventilation, so I don't think "many" people die from second-hand smoke. I don't think smoking should be banned in every indoor business in our country. So yes, I think that impinges on our freedoms too...shocker I guess we disagree again.

You don't have any right to walk into a casino.
If you don't like their smoking rules, Covid-19 rules, mask rules etc...then don't enter their business. It is a private business...it's not public space.

Unfortunately, casinos on sovereign nations' lands set their own laws, rules, and standards that must meet some Federal Laws that were exclusive for them only. Every other casino that is located on land that is governed under state laws must adhere to what that individual state law says. Casinos rightfully think that large percentages of their customer base are completely stupid hence the lousy rules "set by state regulators dumber than the casinos' customers" on all their games. Obviously that since the casinos' customer base is, for the most part, stupid it only stands to reason, that, why waste extra expenses on having a more health-conscious environment if all it takes is the bare minimum standards. Let the assholes die, of course, after they empty their wallets.

I’m looking at the data from my home state of Minnesota per the Minnesota Department of Health and it appears our peak to date has been in the three weeks prior to stay at home being lifted and first half week after. We lifted the stay at home order May 18th, various openings or occupancy restriction dates or phases I’m seeing May 18th, May 27, June 1, and June 10th.

Total state case count: 29,316. Stay at home order ended May 18.
Dates of 600+ cases reported by date:

4/27-5/18: 16 of 22 days 600+

5/19-22: First 4 days of being lifted all 600+, likely mostly infected before reopening. Daily peak case numbers of 969 and 972 reported 5/18 and 5/21.

5/23-6/10: 2 of 19 days of 600+ with none after 5/27 and all below 400 daily since 6/4.

Well I do not agree at all, and I believe your data is totally incorrect.
Of course counts of positive cases are going up everywhere....BECAUSE STATES ARE NOW TESTING PEOPLE!!!
How could there not be an uptick now that people are actually getting tested?
That doesn't mean at all, that the disease is spreading and getting worse.
Most states, almost all do not have massive upticks in hospitalizations, or deaths.

Nah, many states besides NY have opened cautiously and in phases specific to regions etc. My region has had 0 deaths and is still opening way too cautiously.
And you think that the rest of the country should look at NY as a model for how to handle Covid-19?
Honestly, I think it would be hard for NY to make their deaths any worse if they actually tried to do that at this point.
Things are getting better everywhere, we should be happy about that and start getting people back to work before it's too late. It probably is too late already.

How about rising hospitalizations and deaths in Arizona, Florida, Texas, California, and on and on?
