I will say thank you for your service to our country. And that's no bullshit. But again, I stress the vast difference between tipping for service and giving to charity (e.g. disabled/homeless vets). No need to get into who donates to what and for how much. That being said, we've all earned our choice to tip or not to tip. But what else did you expect telling people that you don't tip the waitress?
