The terms set forth in the brochure that CET hands out clearly state that once you are registered, all you have to do is earn one base credit in a market for that to be added to the list of places you're recognized as having visited. Note that simply swiping a card at a kiosk is not sufficient. You have to earn one base credit, by one means or another. If CET didn't honor these terms, you'd certainly have grounds to pitch a bitch, to Nevada Gaming if necessary.

To have your $5 go farther, it's prob better to play it thru the. 25 machine vs the $5 machine so you don't suffer variance.
That said, the hold on the lower denomination machines is higher than on high denomination machines. You need a large bankroll to survive the variance on the high denomination machines.
If you only have $5, maybe better to play the lower denomination machines. If you have much more, higher denomination machines.
As far as for this promo, it's positive EV either way, as some else already explained. It can also be extremely positive EV.

shad: you aren't awarded the RC on the next spin. There is a substantial delay in RC awarded after the spin in both slots and VP. We simply play too fast and hit the spin button faster than the delayed. Try it, waiting after the exact number of spins. I know exactly how many spins on each machine I need to get a specific number of RC. After those spins, I wait, and after the delay, I always get exactly how many RC I was expecting. I never need to bet an extra spin. My only caveat is that this is based on my experience with the CETs I play at. I imagine it might vary at the properties that you play though I doubt it. Let me if your results vary from mine, even after you wait the delay.

It's 5 bucks! No need to maximize the expectation of it, since you're going to lose it all. You want to maximize the comp points out of it. The best way is to bet 1 cent at a time till it's gone, but that's a huge waste of time.
Pick a low denomination and lose it all. If you win over $50 then lose just $5 from your maximum win.

Oh, I never read this thread I tried the whole promotion a while ago and thought I'd jump in here and let people know.
You have to swipe a kiosk to be entered into the contest. I believe you only need to swipe one kiosk in any casino and then you are entered for every casino you play in, but I swipe at every casino just in case I'm wrong.NAP said:
