Wrong.
You earn reward points for every $5 played.
If you play a $5 slot machine and win $5 and play the $5 you just won and lose, you get credit for playing $10*****not $5.
It's the total amount of money that you played, not the amount of "coin in".
I don't think I'm wrong. The amount of coin-in includes the original amount that you put in, and any amount that you win and then rebet.
So if you put in $5, spin it, you get reward credits based on that $5. If you happen to win $5, and decide to rebet it instead of cashing out the $5 win, you will get reward credits for that next $5. (which is now reward credit for $10 total wagered. )
Next, know that slots and VP give different rewards.
For every $5 wagered in slots, you get 1 RC reward credit.
For every $10 wagered in slots, you get 1 RC reward credit.
shad: you aren't awarded the RC on the next spin. There is a substantial delay in RC awarded after the spin in both slots and VP. We simply play too fast and hit the spin button faster than the delayed. Try it, waiting after the exact number of spins. I know exactly how many spins on each machine I need to get a specific number of RC. After those spins, I wait, and after the delay, I always get exactly how many RC I was expecting. I never need to bet an extra spin. My only caveat is that this is based on my experience with the CETs I play at. I imagine it might vary at the properties that you play though I doubt it. Let me if your results vary from mine, even after you wait the delay.
