Need some advice

Just looking for some advice to see if I'm on the right track.

I've been practicing with CV for the last couple months using KO Preferred. The game I have available at my local casino is 4D, DAS, DOA, ES, H17 with very good penetration, at least 80% sometimes up to 90%. My betting spread is 1-10 (1U is $5) and I have a $5000 bankroll to start. Betting ramp is RC<=-1 --> $5, RC=0 --> $10, RC=1 --> $10, RC=2 --> $20, RC=3 --> $30, RC=4 -->$40, RC=<5 -->$50. I also try and move to two hands if possible around a +3 count.

The place isn't particularly busy the times I play, so I can usually play with only a couple people at my table and even have played heads up a few times. Unfortunately, there are only 2 available tables ($3 & $5 min.) open, except for weekends when they open 4 lower limit ($2-$50) tables, which are always packed. So wonging is tough.

So far I've put in about 15 hours total with a loss of 100 units. Now I know this is a small amount of time, so I'm hoping the issue is just that I haven't put in enough hours to see any type of return. My only thought as to why I'm not seeing more success is that I'm possibly sitting through too many poor count shoes. I find myself sitting through a shoe playing minimum bets rather than making an excuse to leave for a bit. Definitely something I need to work on in the future.

Any other advice or criticism would be greatly appreciated.

1) Your win rate will increase drastically if you leave at negative counts. Even if it's only a couple times throughout a session. It is not essential that you leave every neg. count, but it is always better.

2) Spread to 2 hands at a +2 count instead of +3

3) Don't stray from your gameplan even when you are losing..ie. Don't overbet because you lost 3 in a row and don't underbet because you are scared to lose.

You say you haven't seen success because you sit through too many neg. counts. How many times have you seen a + count where you actually were able to put out a max bet? Remember, just because you are counting doesn't mean you have an advantage. You must play it correctly.

I think I know where he is playing. And if it is the game I think, it is ES vs any but Ace...still a really good games albeit with very low table max.

All good points, thanks.

You may also find that using an unbalanced count isnt as accurate and you arent going to win as much money as a TC. I used to swear by unbalanced but they are just not accurate enough in the begining or end of the shoe, your indices have to be adjusted accordingly to be accurate, and all your desionsions are basicly more guesses at certain times. I think you would see more improvement with a balanced count, I know i saw a huge improvement
