Just looking for some advice to see if I'm on the right track.
I've been practicing with CV for the last couple months using KO Preferred. The game I have available at my local casino is 4D, DAS, DOA, ES, H17 with very good penetration, at least 80% sometimes up to 90%. My betting spread is 1-10 (1U is $5) and I have a $5000 bankroll to start. Betting ramp is RC<=-1 --> $5, RC=0 --> $10, RC=1 --> $10, RC=2 --> $20, RC=3 --> $30, RC=4 -->$40, RC=<5 -->$50. I also try and move to two hands if possible around a +3 count.
The place isn't particularly busy the times I play, so I can usually play with only a couple people at my table and even have played heads up a few times. Unfortunately, there are only 2 available tables ($3 & $5 min.) open, except for weekends when they open 4 lower limit ($2-$50) tables, which are always packed. So wonging is tough.
So far I've put in about 15 hours total with a loss of 100 units. Now I know this is a small amount of time, so I'm hoping the issue is just that I haven't put in enough hours to see any type of return. My only thought as to why I'm not seeing more success is that I'm possibly sitting through too many poor count shoes. I find myself sitting through a shoe playing minimum bets rather than making an excuse to leave for a bit. Definitely something I need to work on in the future.
Any other advice or criticism would be greatly appreciated.
