I hear a lot more about players losing too many hands in a row. I am with those who suspect casino cheating. Quick hands. perhaps bj is not a -1% game but 50% like loto?

Stats books calculate standard deviation 5 for bj for 100 continous hands. It should go up and down like this. win 4 consecutive hands once in 100 handas. Lose 5 consecutive hands once in 100 hands.

Play 20 000 hands and lose 13 consecutives once.
Play 20 000 hands and win 11 consecutives once.

I think casinos cheat.

Variance is a mother f'er. I'm actually scared to go back to the casino after last night. Got stiffs for an entire shoe, every time the count rose, it got worse. Move to another table first 2 hands were 14 for me -bust, then a 4 card 21 for the dealer. Just one of those nights where you can't get anything going. Afraid not. It happened. And not on a cheap PRC device (Peoples Republic of China) whatever that may be, but on a standard Shufflemaster 1-2-6 CSM - the same ones that will be in Macau.

use superformula (E) to calculate EXACTLY 13 LOSSES IN 14 HANDS. we say probability to lose is 0.52 (52%). the chance is 1 in 732. who say impossible? you did. but you tricky. you said like losing 13 consecutive hands. but now is liky losing 4, winning 1, losing 9!!! you trickkY!!!
but if you lose again 13 in 14 mands the chance is 1 in 535824. only casinos can do that and the gov of prc who makes perfekt csm.

Or are you saying the Chinese authorities have tampered with the design and these things are able to manipulate the order in which the cards come out? Although it's possible it does stretch the imagination somewhat.

And sorry, but I haven't been trained by the Chinese casinos - in fact I've never been to China. You're definitely wrong there I'm afraid.

Newb, I don't think Win21 was inferring the Chinese communist government interfere in the design and manufacture of CSMs. What he was getting at is designers and makers get extra-terrestrial help from this...
