Welcome to the club, wise master! The funniest thing is that now I am using the free game here on BJinfo using $5 to simulate $50 due to the small BR they give you. I keep forgetting to stop at 62 cards remaining to simulate 80% pen so I have to throw away the results. It gets me all excited thinking I am really winning big only to find that I have played the entire six decks! Lol Just more proof not to play when you're tired in real life. Lol
Hi Aslan - sorry to hear about your mom-in-law. That's tough. Puts this silly game in perspective that's for sure. Hang in there. Thanks for sharing.
I forget what spread you are using but I'm using the trainer here too with a $5 unit and spreading 1,6,13,20,24 units. Multiply by 5 later lol. I just exit the game and start with $1K each new shoe since I can't figure out any other way to force a shuffle sooner. If I lose more than 200 units in a shoe I'll deal with it somehow lol.
It looked maybe like from Ken's code it will reshuffle automatically with 1 deck remaining anyway. Haven't gotten that far yet lol. But, if so, it's only 12 more cards and I wouldn't throw the results away. Maybe just note it. What counter is going to walk away anyway if the dealer keeps dealing?
I guess you could use results from a real casino at $5 if you could find more or less the same game.,etc. If that ain't "real-life simulating", I don't know what would be lol. But, don't do it for our sake that's for sure. It won't be the same game, if it is, spreading 1-24 might be unrealistic anyway, it won't be heads-up, roll risk, etc.
The idea is, if you really want to do that, run a sim for yourself and hopefully you will be able to measure real results against that. Do you think you would be able to do that - maybe you were doing it anyway before this lol.
And, thank heaven, Wise One is coming back to earth - a little anyway lol.
I'm off to a slow start but that's OK - I'll be adding results for a long time for the heck of it just to see what happens. No hurry. Maybe someday we get to the point where it's pretty clear we'd win money forever. Just to maybe add a little ammo that's maybe it's at least possible that maybe this "math" stuff (sims) possibly has some validity. Even if the game and spread might be a little unrealistic in real life, even if playing all hands, and quite possibly not the best use of a $100K roll.
I don't know - maybe the thread is too long, maybe all this is in alot of ways not worthwhile from any practical point of view or something, perhaps like zg says lol.
Still, I'd enjoy any comments from Bojack, Sonny, RJB, rukus, bj avenger, anybody lol what the heck they make of it lol.
Of course the biggest mystery of all to me is how quickly and easily The Wise One abandoned "fuzzy counting" and by all markers like avg bet, number of counts played at what, etc seems to be able to count and convert TC and bet with extreme accuracy over thousands and thousands of hands as verified by CVBJ which keeps track of such things.
He'll probably be getting calls now from card-counter headhunters lol.
