You ain'ta gonna believe this, jj. Lol This was my best session yet I think. I might catch up with the Chez Fr0ggy if this keeps up! Where is that Mr. Fr0g anyway...I haven't seen him since Stalker showed up! Maybe, we should take the team to the real casinos...lol...Oops! I forgot, A $100,000 bankroll would help! Lol It's all downhill from here on in! View attachment 763
Havin a hard time buyin it. Remember you have double Sagefrog just to tie him, so you got a little ways to go. I think I temporarily forgot you're spreadin 50-1200 so in essence your only apox 30-35 MaxBets up which sounds about right. All kiddin aside, I dont see you as a Lyin type. I believe/trust all the warriors here. Especially kc, he dont even crack a :) when he talks. Update scoreboard here in-a-spell.

That'll work. I got a blank screen.!!! :laugh:
Perhaps its because Ken has the HTML code turned-off:confused: I'll have to PM and ask. Anyway I got out my michrophone and Recorded a 45 sec message to all you Warriors.:laugh: Whats strange is, is I could access my own file without even being Logged on. So I was confident you guys would be able to open it. It appears you may have to embedd the code or something like that. I'll keep workin on it.

I'm just spreading $50 to $500, not $1,200. I'm a little surprised, too, that I am doing so well. But in real life I have approx 60 out of 70 winning sessions. I tend to stay until I'm on the winning side, broke, or too tired to continue. No lying here. And I am hoping to actually witness first hand one of Sage's terrific positive runs. I know it possible, but they are few and far between. I hope Sage finds one in real life, too. I hope we all do. Well, I have to go get dinner. sport041.gif Just kidding. Lol

OOH OK, I Thought you were Implementing a 1200$ Maxbet. My bad. Well Damn then, your doin greaaaat! My hats off to ya:) I never realized you had such succes. I read all your outings and was under the impression things didnt turn out so well for ya and you just gave it up. Anyway hats off again.

Im not sure what cancellers planning on doing. I think we should have a team meeting or perhaps set a goal for 100K and perhaps get a fresh start?

Id like to hear what others think? I know what you and sage think. Since you guys are doin so well.

Added risk of ruin and a few other things to my spreadsheet.

(Dead link: http://www.bjstrat.net/Downloads/Warrior4.zip) _Updated spreadsheet_

So far I have simulated 31 shoes amounting to 1425 rounds. Good news is that I can now get new data with some automation and all data includes exact pre-round BS EV. Bad news is that it takes about a half hour per shoe on my outdated computer. I think on a newer computer the process could possibly take 10-15 percent of the time my computer needs, maybe less. Without the pre-deal EV calculation I could probably generate millions of rounds but there would be no reference to actual EV available.

For 31 shoes using warrior spreads + warrior rules (spreads can be changed in the spreadsheet):
All use basic full shoe TD strategy -

Flat bet: +17.5 units (max was about +57, min about -7)
Hi-Lo: +107.5 units (was about +280 before last 10 shoes)
Unbalanced KO: +120 units (was about +60 before last 10 shoes, at 1 time barely above even)
True Counted KO: +181.5 units (was about +285 before last 10 shoes)

Ave pre-round EV: -.36% (was -.72% but increased on about the last 12-15 shoes)
Ave Hi-Lo TC: +.26 (was about -.5 but increased on last 10 shoes)

It seems a flat bettor plays at a lower risk of ruin than a counter when bankroll is small and there is a modest goal.

To compute RoR I am using an approximation method outlined in Theory of Blacjack, Sixth Edition.
There was an error in my RoR algorithm. The download is updated and also has 2 more shoes added to the data.

If anyone just wants to fix the error in the original download, open the spreadsheet and press atl+F11 to open the Visual Basic Editor. Find "Public Sub ComputeRoR()." Leave everything as is before the line "'End flat bet'."

Code:
Replace theses lines:
    For n = 1 To 3
        sqrt_asw = asw(n) ^ 0.5
        equivEV = wph(n) / sqrt_asw
        If Not (bank / sqrt_asw > 0 And bank / sqrt_asw < 1) Then
            bank = CLng(Worksheets(4).Cells(3, 1).Value / sqrt_asw)
        End If
        goal = Worksheets(4).Cells(3, 2).Value
        RiskOfRuin = RoR(equivEV, bank, goal)
        Worksheets(4).Cells(3, n + 3).Value = RiskOfRuin
    Next n

With these lines:
    For n = 1 To 3
        sqrt_asw = asw(n) ^ 0.5
        equivEV = wph(n) / sqrt_asw
        If (bank / sqrt_asw < 1) Then
            goal = CLng(goal / bank)
            bank = 1
        Else
            goal = CLng(Worksheets(4).Cells(3, 2).Value / sqrt_asw)
            bank = CLng(Worksheets(4).Cells(3, 1).Value / sqrt_asw)
        End If
        RiskOfRuin = RoR(equivEV, bank, goal)
        Worksheets(4).Cells(3, n + 3).Value = RiskOfRuin
    Next n
The last few lines of "ComputeRoR" starting with "Exit Sub" remain as is as well.
That's the hard way. The easy way is to just re-download the spreadsheet.

I fixed my program and started over. After 7 shoes I'm already down a couple thousand. I remain optimistic.

Even winning most of my outings, when I lost I lost really big. Each big loser wiped out several successful sessions. A large part of the problem was not taking enough bankroll with me to weather the worst storms. Ya can't lose in the long run--that's a given. But you gotta have enough bankroll to see your through. I'll be back at the tables soon, but I won't be playing on a short session bankroll. Two sessions as a weekend warrior would have busted me in the real life casino because at certain points I was down over $5,000 and $7,000 respectively. Of course, as a weekend warrior I have unlimited resources, so I was able to fight my way back. 316.gif

What Language is this in? Just kiddin:laugh: I tell ya KC, when you make up a spreadsheet, you make up a sreadsheet, now. Actually all BS aside, I looks very profecient and its fun to look at. It shows what hands you bet and at what counts you bet them, In addition to how much you won. Excellent and well maintained Data, if I say so myself. You my friend, are a true Warrior. Keep up the Good work!

PS. Have you played any BJ lately? Just curious.

How are you people running these simulations?
We're playing them manually, using software. (At least I think everyone who was using real cards is now using software.)

It sounds crazy, but it is kind of fun!

Hey Williams, so you wanna be a Warrior?

Its relatively inexspensive from about 25-100$ How much were you looking to spend. Me and Sagefrog are using Qfits software. Theres also KC and Canceler software.

If you’re just looking for practice software, you can use the BS Trainer on this website. There is also a good one at HitorStand.com. There are some other practice programs listed in the Free Counting Resources thread:

http://www.blackjackinfo.com/bb/showthread.php?t=697

If you are looking for simulation software, Qfit has the most comprehensive software programs available. There are some cheaper ones but they are limited.
