This afternoon I’m going to take a little trip to play a game with nearly the same conditions we have here. Except my min bet will be somewhat less than $25, and I won’t be using any 1-24 spread! Maybe since the BJ gods have been having their way with me during my Weekend Warrior play, they’ll give me a break when I play for real. :joker: I’d be satisfied to win enough to pay for the gas, though.
hope it worked out for you.
i went tonight and paid for my gas plus brought home an extra $30.
never had an opportunity to raise my bet over $10 in two hours of play for $5 min.

Thanks for giving me those two decimal places. If you just glance at it quickly, it looks much better than it is!

My computer is on a rickety old card table. If I tried that, everything would probably end up on the floor!

Heh, heh, heh!

I was all set to play the 6D game, which is very similar to the one we’re playing here. But the 4D table was empty, so I sat down there. Of course, I was immediately joined by another gentleman. He started complaining to the dealer about this supposed card counter that had been there just before me. Going on about how this guy was always jumping in and out, messing up the shoes, and how they shouldn’t allow that sort of thing.

All righty, then.

Spreading $10-$100, I won $795 in one hour. (That’s about 1 2/3 SDs, Kasi, aren’t you proud of me for knowing that!) The players and the dealer all congratulated me; they thought it was wonderful. I decided to take a break to eat, and to ponder some weighty questions: Do I feel greedy? Are they perhaps evaluating my play, which could lead to unpleasantness if I sit down again? Do I want to drive home into the sun, or wait until it goes down?

After dinner, the good tables were too crowded for my taste, so I left. With that win I thought sure I’d be ahead at that particular casino, but records indicate they still “owe” me just under $400. Ah’ll be bock!

Here's a whole lot of nothing to add.

177 hands $0 lmao.

Wagered $35K though lol.

Using the game at http://www.card-counting-blackjack.com/GameInit.aspx
now instead of the Trainer here.

I'll be rolling now lol.
The graphics aren't as nice but you can use my program to deal a heads up game more quickly. You can choose to ignore the calculations the program does as the game is dealt and you can choose to compute or not to compute pre-deal overall BS EV and then to ignore that calculation as well and just play according to some fine little robot strategy. To do this run the program in game mode by clicking 'Begin Game'. Program has keyboard shorcuts listed in help file.

Since I'm trying to use Excel in conjuction with the output of my program I took the time to record 10 shoes worth of data manually for (Dead link: http://www.bjstrat.net/downloads/Warrior3.zip) _this spreadsheet_.
Code:
How spreadsheet works:

Composition Sheet - Uses input from a program that can compute pre-deal
overall EV for each composition using basic strategy as each round is simulated.
Result of the round is the number of units won/lost on that round
using basic strategy. After new data is entered the 'CorrelateEV' macro can
be run to update summary data in the Spreads Sheet but first the macro
needs to be updated by changing the line 'LastRow=XXX' making XXX equal
to whatever the last row number is using the Visual Basic Editor.

Spreads Sheet - Spreads for each count can be changed to get different
results for each count. After spreads have been changed the CorrelateEV
macro can be run to update summary EV data on the Spreads sheet.
Changing spreads automatically updates the Counts Sheet.

Counts Sheet - The Counts Sheet just reflects the results for each count
given its spread and what has ocurred in the simulated hands, There are
presently 3 counts: Hi-Lo, Unbalanced KO, and True Counted KO. Other
counts and their corresponding spreads could be added.
So far I've simulated 10 shoes accounting for 465 rounds. The version of Excel I have can accommodate around 65000 rounds or between 1300 and 1400 6-deck 80% pen shoes. I'm pretty new to using Excel and there's probably a better way but I just record new data into a text file. I can then import the text file into the spreadsheet and update it pretty easily so if I can automate the process of creating the text file for new data adding a lot more shoes will be reasonably simple. I don't have as much time for this stuff as I used to though.

just looked at your warrior spread sheet. to be straight up i'm too dim witted to fully understand it. with time though i'll probably catch on lol.
but i'd just say how way cool it would be if tdca data could be automatically gleaned by such a spread sheet or at least relatively 'painlessly' gleaned.
well if you do i'll buy it. lol.

Learn some simple VB scripting. If you had a MAC you could use apple script to do it all..

The way I did it, was by taking aslans "last ending total" and THEN adding it/everything all together.

At first I tried editing it, just by using aslans stats. But im not sure, but I think aslan may of made a error in the discrepency of his last 2 updates.

So I just took his grand total and added everthing all to-gether.

ps: Do you like the color?

I actually read one of the "resource" sticky threads here. :)

Took your advice and slowed way down - haven't played a hand in 3 days
