The report on the national news said table games officially start Friday. They indicated there would likely be a soft, unanounced opening or trial run a day or two earlier.
I could be wrong, but I read a news feed this morning that it was a trial weekend at one of the three casinos only...then to be evaluated for final approval thereafter. Harrington, I believe, is the one that will have the trial this weekend. Dover and Delaware will go live next month supposedly.

Looking forward to this. Like CP said, competition is good...and could prove great for my neck of the woods.

good luck :joker:

The report I saw over the weekend, was on one of the national evening news programs (abc, nbc, or cbs...don't remeber). I have gone to their websites to try to confirm, but really don't see anything about the story. However the philadelphia cbs3 website confirms what you stated, ChefJJ. They say that Harrington actually started a low limit trial today, Monday, May 24, and will get final approval this week before opening for good (and I presume higher limits) on Friday, May 28, in time for Memorial Day weekend. The other two delaware locations will be two weeks behind.

Good research...didn't realized they began yesterday!

Sure it helps.

It mentions that there will be THREE (3) BJ variants, and lists trwo (2)

“Blackjack Switch“ is a great game or a dreadful game depending on the rules.

“Blackjack Progressive“ I have never heard of.

I suspect that “Double Attack BJ“ will be the other.

I’d rather it was “Spanish21“.

No spanish or double attack at Harrington. The third variety is probably the itable blackjack. Switched 21's don't count as a blackjack at Harrington's bj switch.

I don't know, I'm looking at the smaller font and additional text on that felt and it looks like a H17 table to me. But this could just be a file photo, no guarantee the picture was taken a PA casino.

Looks like the Rivers will have 3:2, S17, and only 6 spots - could this be a high limit table?

Thought I read there as well that they'd be offering LS...been a few months for me too, so I could be mistaken. Does that ring a bell?

good luck :joker:

Link here (section 549, p. 403).

Looks like S17, DOA, split twice, NoRSA, DAS, LS. Number of decks and use of CSMs are up to casino.
