Damn Canceler, looks like you walked off an edge of a cliff. Ill be posting my next 1,000 hands tonite. I actually started steaming a little bit, which cost me a couple K. IM currently down a couple 1K for this session.:whip:Canceler said:Mr. Fr0g is afraid something like THIS will happen.
sagefr0g;85471so but i guess if you have some nice positive standard deviation early on then you at least have a lot of wiggle room. [/QUOTE said:You guys are the best lol.
Say we've won $80K at this point and plug that in as a starting roll. From this point forward our ROR is like 0.05%. Chances of reaching $1MM in winnings 99.95%.
ZG - like The Wise One says, this is not a competition. What's the point of that? Two equally skillful CC's could be many thousands of dollars apart in results and who "won" would prove nothing. It's a team playing to a team bankroll.
More important question to ask might be "Who Lost?". So far, it appears The Evil Empire has lol.
Obviously i have to start playing to screw these semi-miraculous results up somewhere back to expected lol.
Excellent job, Mr.SageFrog. Anxious to get back in the game. Finally Got this high performance machine of mine, back to where its supposed to be. After 3 re-formats.sagefr0g said:3,936 hands

i still got wiggle room for high 3 std dev's
Sagefr0g is winning funny money, but you forget about the money he loses in real life....well, sometimes. LOL Meanwhile he is upsetting you because you are losing funny money at an equal but opposite rate. Just be happy you don't do this in real life....or do you? LOL If Sage ever repeated this in real life, we'd never hear the end of it! Maybe that's the next stage....hmm...what do you think, O wise and perspicacious Amphibian! Ready to hit the casinos bigtime?Canceler said:Sagefr0g is winning all the money I'm losing.

That was a past life...er...not too much past...you'll probably see me a third or next to third base at your $5 table one of these days. In my past life I had not yet learned about variance...lol...after a few roller coaster rides and a few bottles of acid reducer I decided my bankroll dedicated to gambling pursuits was insufficient for those high roller antics....I think they call it spreading...lol...it's still a lot of money to bet with a 1% edge...I'm used to a 10% or better edge playing pool...my heart couldn't stand living on a 1% edge....I was just thinking...say you only get to play 10 hands an hour in a positive count....that's only 120 hands in 12 hours. If someone wanted to flip coins 120 times for $1000 a flip giving you a 1% edge, would you jump at it? 120 flips is not exactly enough time to ensure a winner. Even a 1000 flips isn't much...the coins don't "try" to come out even. In fact, they may never come out even...100,000 times and they might still be against you....LOL...1% is a long way from certainty...I guess that's why they use a billion or more in simulations...something I don't have time for...lolsagefr0g said:i was ready for ya aslan.
