As I recall it was somewhere in the ordering process - like whether you wanted it printed or as a PDF file. So I think maybe you have to be in the secure section of the website. Maybe where they say something like printing will take a few work days. As I recall lol. Keep your eyes open anyway lol.
lol Well, I got impatient and ordered the book by mail. So, i won't be trying it out next week, but maybe soon. lol I think lulu, what an name, has some things that are downloadable but I don't think this is one of them or I am looking right at it but not seeing it which is not at all implausible especially at my age.

After all, what's the rush for a lifetime of +EV anyway lol.

Is it the AC game you are considering playing most often?

I was in a rush to get it, because I want to play it before they figure out it's beatbale and need to be watched like BJ

Re splitting aces, yes you can double any time, and resplit aces, too. I had an A-A last week and drew another A on one of the hands. Split again, doubled on one of them and won all 3 hands, with a $200 original bet out!

I wouldn't worry about it. Most casino people barely understand counting blackjack, they're not going to be able to handle something a little more complex like SP21. I've yet to meet another person who even knows basic strategy for the game. People on this site are working hard to understand the counting process; the lowbrows working in AC casinos surely aren't up to it.

Furthermore, due to the poor play and the MTD sidebet the holds on those tables must be enormous. I don't think they are going to notice any money missing due to us.

Because of the lack of tens, wouldn't a normal hi-lo count be unbalanced in SP21?
Yes. So what would a normal unbalanced count like KO become? Looks like the Titantic to me. +1+1+1+1+1+1 0 0-1-1-1-1 I'm wondering if you can count a 9 as -1 or a seven as 0 and re-establish it as an unbalanced count close to KO statistically. I don't have the tools to figure out the differences.

I use KO for BJ and thought it would be tough switching to HiLo for Sp21. It wasn't hard at all. A couple of times, my first time out, I had to back out a couple of 7's I counted as +1.

One nice thing about starting with an IRC of -32 for 8D game is once that RC hits 0, you don't even need to do TC conversions any more because you're in high + territory (equiv to BJ +4 or beyond.)

Yes and that would be a perfectly legitimate way to approach it. But certainly not the most powerful. I think half-ranking the 2's and 6's would work better.

I hear the casinos are starting to shut the game down. The 2 people with a 190 IQ will ruin it for the rest of us dummies.

You forgot to mention double weighting the Aces due to their increased density and value!

Are you serious? Where is this happening?

That's what I'm talking about

Get a chance to hit that 3-card 17 vs Ace yet lol.

No, but I did surrender a 17 v A and even the dealer asked me if I was sure I wanted to do that.

Way too many times. Ya gotta be fast too. Dealers like to fly by after you get to 17. My first time, was heads up, and the dealer just flipped over his card after I got 17.

Heh. I was not about to get worried about the loss of playable SP21.

I too surrendered 17 v A and the dealer said that was the only play he doubted on my strat card. How come no ploppy realizes that 17 is a weak hand?

For the same reason they all go nuts if you hit a soft 18 against a 9,10, or A. It's not intuitive and has to be proven by the math.

One other thing I've noticed now that I've played Sp21 a few times at different places is I am usually the only one not playing the Match the Dealer side bet. And of course, they point out how much I would have won when I do match.

True on both counts.

After 4 sessions using the new SP21 method, I'm up a little more than EV. I like it. The swings in SP21 are a bit less, more like a steady climb. The players don't claim to be experts. I'm usually the only white male playing and sometimes the only male. (So of course I'm shown a lot of deference at the table!) What an opportunity, SP21 has been around for a long time and I hope it lasts forever.
